My pile of soot has changed to...  A Maraquan babaa! Really just looks like a black and white fish to me though,lol. |

oh wow! I didn't realize that a pile of soot could continue to change, but i can't use the petpet lab ray yet, cuz i don't want my mazzew or my snowbunny to change, i like them the way they are and just want to paint them, and i need the avies for my gruslen and harris but that maraquan babaa is adorable!

lol like the pile of sludge..just a big pile of ashes lol but you get an avie the first time your petpet changes to soot

I haven't had any luck at the petpet labray, just a bunch of name changes, the most recent being McFritter!

I wish i had a lab ray ;-\ Anyway the Maraquan babaa is so cute! I thought you could only change pets or petpets with the lab ray! well thats so cool that you can change objectss too!

I thought you could only change pets or petpets with the lab ray! well thats so cool that you can change objectss too! no, the pile of soot is a petpet, to get the petpet lab ray avatar it has to zap your petpet into a pile of soot, but when my petpet was zapped into one and i unattached it, it turned back into its original form, so it's not technically an item that you can find anywhere on the site unless it's still attached as a petpet, hence the reason no one has posted a pic of it yet but you can get the idea of what the pile of soot looks like from the avatar  |

tiffy lol you had me running out to buy the set too..and i got the avie on first shot! i bought a snicklebeast and he is not soot lol The Kookith begins wildly pushing buttons on the console, which looks to be made of cardboard and... Achyfi cans?! This can't be right! You begin formulating a plan to rescue your Petpet and run far, far away, but it's too late. The ray has already been fired...  Your eyes recover quite quickly after the giant explosion, but that's more than you can say for your Petpet. The Kookith is kind enough to sweep up Snaggy for you and you head home. Do you really want to come back tomorrow? |

Finally my petpet changed! Its been taking forever... So my  changed into a  ..... I like it better as a glowing wuzzle. The Khnum... I mean what is that coming out of his chin? Extra skin? |

Oh no!!!! I didn't know I had to have the original lab map first... I just bought all nine pieces of the petpet lab map, and I totally can't afford even one piece of the other map, so.... I guess I'll sell it!!!

Thats ok anjannie60... you basically make your money back. Than you can save for the Lab Ray peices and than rebuy the petpetlab ray pieces. It is worth it to have it.
