That is kinda funny.  And I've been getting Neopets down for maintenance SO much tonight...it's making me crazy!!! I keep having to make the same moves in Godori over again because the move won't generate and they refresh the page. Grrrrrrrrr |

That is kinda funny. And I've been getting Neopets down for maintenance SO much tonight...it's making me crazy!!! I keep having to make the same moves in Godori over again because the move won't generate and they refresh the page. Grrrrrrrrr oh yeah? well try beating your pet completely where you should have won somewhere around 450 np and having it do that to you... you know what it does? it starts an entirely new game, with no np awarded at all... i was majorly ticked off over that one |

I had to ask lindsey last night about the World Challenges map pieces and when i understood what it was about, i decided to buy all the pieces for the first of three pictures for Terror Mountain. I spent about 225k on all 20 pieces and once I converted the picture to a prize, I got 2000 np and a brown paint brush that I then sold for 300k, so i came out ahead by 77k. I was going to try to win some pieces today, but the only games you can win pieces by playing them, take too long for me to play, so by the time that i get a score sent in the hour is over and other people have sent in 3 or 4 scores! So I think I'm going to stick to buying the pieces, because at least on the Terror Mountain pieces I came out ahead!

World challenges are games that you play, your scores are put against others who are playing the game, the ones with highest scores get a world challenge map piece, collect all of the maps pieces and you win a prize. go here www.neopets.com/challenges/world_index.phtml |

oh but there's a catch to the world challenges.... first, a minimum of 3 people have to participate in your particular challenge or you won't win squat ... hence the reason I don't have any map pieces
second, you can't send world challenge scores for games that you've already played your max games for the day
so you could play and play and play and if there isn't 3 people at least you don't get anything at all, which is why most people end up just buying the map pieces from the few who can get them

Sounds like it would be much easier just to buy them. There are so many variables involved in getting them the hard way that it almost doesn't seem worth the trouble.
Okay, and here's another annoyance....I've had that darn neopets toolbar for DAYS now, and I've been online quite a bit and every single time I get that "no prize" message. I mean, I clicked on it almost the second it started blinking, and still nothing. grrrrrrrrrrr

yeah, the toolbar's been nothing but a pain in the rear lately, but it isn't the toolbar, it's neopets something's just going wrong with it... the other day every time i clicked a link on my toolbar the page just kept trying to load and load and load but never loaded, which included my email and the portal but the actual neopets site itself was fine
they've got some serious problems going on, i couldn't access my email for 2 days and that meant a lot of email in my inbox

OMG!! I've reached the 1 mil neopoint mark for the first time ! I finally upgraded my account to Millionaire Platinum ! .. i know it doesnt mean alot to some of u as ur trillionaires lol but it means a great deal to me woohoo .. now just to find some map pieces for cheap ! |
