This is a continuation from here becuase the thread was more than the recommended 8 pages (hmm that sounds like a commercial!) This is the next part: UPDATE!!!1. Click on the Lenny at the Archives. "Hey, you! Listen, you know Finneus, the archivist, right? I heard him say you've been helping him with some kind of... history puzzle, or something. I don't know, but anyway. Finneus is my uncle, and I want to give him a special surprise for his birthday, which is coming up soon. It's the fourteenth day after the square root of the number of Grundos you find in the--er, sorry, nevermind. Force of habit. Anyway, look, here's what I want to do: He's got this favourite Meepit plushie of his, yeah? And I want to decorate it all nice for his birthday." He grumps. "But I want it to be a surprise! He's always in that office of his, so I can't get ahold of it. If I hang around until he turns his back, he'll get suspicious. But since you're always in there, you could get it without him noticing. So, can you help me?" 2.Now go see the Archivist Lenny and click on the vase. You throw a pebble at the vase. The archivist spins around at the sound of something plinking against the vase. "What? What's was that? Did you hear something?" 3.Now click on the Meepit on the table. The archivist shrugs and turns back around. "Oh well. I'm just hearing things as I get old, I suppose. Say, I wonder where I put that Meepit plushie..." 4.Go back to the lenny (from the conundrums) Great, you got the plushie! I--" He looks at it, startled. "Wait a second, this isn't his favourite Meepit plushie. That one has, uh, um... well..." He scratches his head. "It's a little different, it's got a... a thingy... Look, I'll know it when I see it. You've got to go and get his favourite plushie. Hurry! His birthday is only 94 times the number of bolts on the Virtupets Space Station seconds away!" 5. Then click on the handle of the closed door. 6. Go through the doors until you can click on the smaller door. How interesting... a box of Meepit plushies. This must be where the Archivist keeps getting his replacements! 7. Click "Hide the box" You hide the box of Meepit plushies in another closet. Now the Archivist will never find them! 8. You need to steal the Meepit plushie agian. The archivist shrugs and turns back around. "Oh well. I'm just hearing things as I get old, I suppose. Oh no! My favorite Meepit plushie is gone!" He Brat!s, dismayed. 9. Take it back to the Lenny (from the Conundrums). Click the 'uh-oh' "Excellent!" he cheers as you bring him Finneus's favourite Meepit plushie. "This is the real one. Now, let me just put this ribbon on it--" RRRRIP! "Uh oh." "Oh no! I tore the Meepit's head off! Woe!" He looks down at the headless Meepit plushie. "I--hey, what's this?" He reaches into the plushie and pulls out an old, dull, rusted dagger that was hidden inside the plushie. "Huh, some kind of dagger stored inside the plushie. How weird. Oh well. I guess you better give this plushie back to Finneus. I hope he's not mad at me!" 10.You click on the knife, to get the constellation 11. Get your coordinates Here (new) and/or use the Starmapper then go to the Hall of Heros find your constellation on the Telescope. 12.Go talk to the Janitor. The janitor hurls a book of Lenny Conundrums to the floor and shouts, "RARRRGHH!! THESE CONUNDRUMS ARE TOO HARD!! I'LL CRUSH THAT LENNY IF I SEE HIM!!" 13. See the cieling above Kelland Thief statue 14.Report back to the Astronomy Club The Astronomy Club members greet you warmly as you enter the room... except the club president, who grabs a protractor and threatens you with it every time you come near him. The other club members give you overly casual nods. The Wocky sidles up and whispers, "Don't worry, we'll be making our move soon. In the meantime, hang onto this. And don't ask where I got it." The Wocky explains, "Let's just say it might come in handy later on. Or it might not." She winks and wanders away. The Astronomy Club 15.Go back to the Archives and read the newest pages of the Book of ages

I am really hoping that the astronomy club means that we will have to fight as part of this plot. I have been hoping to battle my Gelert with his new stats!!

I'd rather not fight, I don't like fighting on here. It's just not fun to me.

I agree...I don't like to battle with my pets either. I don't like it when the games or plots include having to fight, cause then me and other people who don't like to battle end up basically getting outcast from the plot...

Although I do agree that the battling part can add a little more excitement.. I, too, don't have the buffest pets around (considering my battling pet is a cute little usul ) and usually it results in me falling behind with those plot points they award in the end.

UPDATE! The Gatherer!1. Go to the Farm, the Dock or the Rock Quarry and click on the Petpet. This poor little Vaeolus seems to have had his flames extinguished, and has been severely injured! Perhaps you should take him to the Archivist. He might know what to do. 2. Take him to the Archivist. The archivist says, "Oh my! What a poor little Vaeolus! I wonder what happened to his owner. He seems very ill!" 3. Click on the petpet 4. Go to the Alchemy Club, and click on the potion. You look at the flyer on the bulletin board. It seems to be advertising an Alchemy Club! "Join the Alchemy Club! Learn to transform simple plants and chemicals into powerful essences and spells, and create your very own magical items! Now accepting new members." "Hmm, so you're looking for medicine, eh? I've got a potion that could help you out... for a price!" Elixir of Petpet Healing 30,000 NP The quiggle cackles at you and demands 30,000 neopoints for the medicine! What a jerk! The Quiggle gives you the potion, and reaches out to take your 30,000 neopoints... *WHACK!* The Archivist storms over and swats the Quiggle on the hand. "Hey! No selling of items is allowed in the Archives! Why are you such a troublemaker, anyway?" He mutters angrily and retreats to his office. 5. Go to the Restive Tomb and click on the wooden beam across the door. Oh no! An angry, mummified Gelatinous Non-Cube is roaming around the tomb! 6. Refresh until the blob gives you bandages. Use Tab to find the link. There is a small tear on the right side of the bandages. You grab some loose bandages from the mummified Gelatinous Non-Cube! Mummy Bandages 8. Go to the Collesseum? and find the punch club. 9. Click on the Pie, and then click contiue. Blueberry Pie You wander over to the pie table and take some blueberry pie. 11. Go to the Archives, click on the petpet, and use these combinations. Click on the appropriate option, watch the clock, and after a minute, click Check in on the Vaeolus. Then you will know the next option to click. Repeat each step. Head Down = Wait Hand out = bandage Tongue out = feed Paw to mouth = medicine Until he his happy and healthy. The archivist says, "Ah, the Vaeolus seems to be feeling much better now. He can stay here until he's ready to leave, of course. I'm sure he'd like to get back to his owner!" "And another clue!" he says. "It seems we draw ever closer to solving this mystery. Quickly, to the observatory!" A Skeith knocks on the door just then. "Why, hello there!" he says. "I'm from the Petpet Protection League, and I heard you were nursing this poor little creature back to health. Very helpful of you! I'd like to present you with this certificate on behalf of the PPL!" 12. Click on the certificate (fauna) to reveal the constellation. 13. Get your coordinates here. Copy/paste them in the Starmapper and/or a Cordinates finder, there is also This new cord finder. Then go to the Hall of Heros and find your constellation on the Telescope. 14.Go talk to the Janitor. The janitor says, "Wow, it's getting really bright in here with all these gems lighting up on the ceiling. Only two left! I wonder if anything special happens when all of them are lit up. Now that would be something to see." 15. See the ceiling above Fauna The Gatherer statue16.Report back to the Astronomy ClubThe Astronomy Club members greet you warmly as you enter the room... except the club president, who isn't here. The Wocky, Korbat, and Buzz approach. "No, we haven't gotten rid of him yet. He left just as we were about to take over. We're gonna wait by the door, and when he comes back in, that's when we'll make our move! Get ready!" They hide by the door, waiting for the club president to return... although it could be a few days. 17. Go back to the Archives and read the newest pages of the Book of Ages The archivist says, "It was obvious, really -- Fauna, the Gatherer, protector of Petpets. How fortunate that you happened upon that wounded Vaeolus. He finished his recovery while you were gone, and left to find his owner." He opens a book on his desk to a particular page. "This is an ancient Altadorian spellbook. It doesn't have any history in it that I could find -- no real surprise there -- but it does have some magics which might have been used as... parts of a larger spell, I suppose. Now, this evidence is rather circumstantial, but the kinds of magics in this book are about hiding knowledge and erasing memories." He flips to the inside cover. Some words are hand-written on the front page: This book donated to the Altadorian Archives by Jerdana He swallows, looks around nervously, and whispers to you. "You must keep this secret! If Jerdana were to hear of this, well -- she might kill us, or worse! And that's assuming she even remembers what happened -- she might have made sure that the spell affected her own memory, so that she could honestly deny any knowledge of what she did. At least, until the spell was broken, and then..." He shrugs. "Who knows what machinations she's planning?" He coughs. "Assuming that Jerdana even is the one behind this. She might just be a pawn of Altador's, or some other power entirely... We must be vigilant if we are to survive this."

good lands!!!! first, it just HAD to be the rock quarry where the petpet was, the very last link i clicked.... second, i thought i had to have 30000 np on hand, so that was a waste of time running to the bank to take it out then not even needing it third, it took absolutely FOREVER for the ripped bandages to show up (though I did find a mystical codestone on the floor because of all the refreshing) fourth, the grarrl didn't show up until the very LAST door that i clicked on the colloseum (just my luck) fifth, i've already spent over 15 minutes of tinkering with the petpet, clicking on the option, waiting a minute, clicking on check on it, and waiting a minute for the next thing to pop up and it's still not better, the poor little thing... i'm having the worst luck with this random crud they have us do this is taking forever and a day to get the little guy happy and healthy I found this on the neoboards that might help some out... even though I'm still trying and this was all posted by flechaj176 1. go out of office to start over and go back in to pet 2. Click on what it needs depending on it's position 3. Wait until clock on neopets starts a new min at hour:min:00 seconds 4. click on CHECK 5. Click it's need 6. wait until min starts over on clock 7. click check 8. click need 9. wait clock min repeat till skeith and click his paper DO NOT MISS A MIN! Write down the min that's next Also if you watch the ending of the URL address, it should get longer with each correctly submitted step, the last step should end in &9= then one of the four letter words after it of feed, wait, meds, or bind There is a short way to do it if you are familiar with how to work with URL addresses thanks to BLAZE_HATMAN for finding this out before anyone else in neopia! URLing it: If you're already at the petpet then leave & come back again. Click on 'give medicine' then click on 'check'... you should have a bit that says av0=meds at the end of the URL... if the word altador moved down a line then its the wrong action, so change 'meds' to either wait, feed or bind and PRESS ENTER.... if altador is still lower than normal try again with a different word once the word 'altador' goes back to where it should be type &av1=meds to the end of the URL, press enter, and then do the same thing if altador moves (changing meds to wait, feed or bind), then add &av2=meds doing the same thing then &av3=etc until the skeith arrives... ALSO A HELPFUL GUDIE TO THE URL SHORTCUT: www.neopets.com/~Ixion99917 CREDITS TO BLAZE_HATMAN for starting the knowledge around on the URL addressing, and Credits to Auntielee for also helping pass his knowledge around too!

Grrrr. I really don't like the pet step. I have been at it for at least an hour and nothing. Edit: I used tis website that was suggested: www.neopets.com/~Ixion99917 and I was done in about 10 minutes. Thank you so much lindsey for posting that website. Edit 2: Well none of the coordinate sites are working right now (or they don't have the latest guide up yet) so I haven't finished actually finding the constellation yet, but i'm tired so i'll just look for it tomorrow.

this is the order i had to do it in... and i'm assuming that everyone has to do the 10 steps correctly
&av0=wait and check in &av1=wait and check in &av2=meds and check in &av3=wait and check in &av4=feed and check in &av5=bind and check in &av6=bind and check in &av7=feed and check in &av8=wait and check in &av9=meds and check in
this site made it a lot easier, because i noticed that the altador would be just a little above the explore button on the navigational bar and if the selection was wrong it would move to directly across from it, then i knew i had to go to my address bar and change the last word to something different until it moved back up above the explore button
i hope this makes a little more sense to you all, as i was totally confused at first

how long does it take for the ripped bandages to appear? I think I have refreshed over 30 times already. Holy Moly I finially got it hopefully the other steps won't be so hard it took me over 3 hours i think to get it all done, of course after i found that website for the petpet urls it only took like another half hour to finish it all, but still that was pretty annoying how long it took to even get to that point and then doing it as it was described in kristin's post wasn't getting me anywhere

I agree...so far I've been at it for about 20 minutes..my luck has been just as bad as yours, linds, don't feel bad.. My petpet also appeared at the last link I clicked, the rock quarry...then when I had to refresh for the bandages, I saw the rip twice but was so used to refreshing quickly that I refreshed the page and skipped it twice, finally the third time, since I had gone slower, I clicked it. Now I'm in the colosseum, and I've gone through all the doors and still not seen the grarrl! I think I'll have to start over on that part tomorrow. I can't agree more with you, fairy! This plot went from fun..to a complete test of patience. If nothing, I am learning patience (along with frustration ) from this thing.
