The jellyneo guide is good but sometimes vague and confusing. Their bit about the vines absolutely confused me to no end. I don't know how I finished that part of the plot but it wasn't thanks to their guide. Just dumb luck!

It took me quite a while to finish that part of the plot, I couldn't figure out what the were saying about the vines either, I just kind of figured it out by myself. I think it's a decent guide though, cuz without it I wouldn't have known that we had to go play meepit juice break and score over 300! this last bit on the plot was pretty easy, basically you just have to play fetch and find the book and bring it back to the caretaker!

It took me forever to find the entrance to Illere's home after I found all the Meepits, but it was rather easy to place them. I'm finally caught up though!

There is a link to a great plot guide in my shop, but as there is nothing in my shop that is the only reason to visit. avatar.starried.net also lists three other plot guides, but I didn't try them.

I'm not liking the next part of the plot (going through 30 some odd graveyards to find an unmarked tombstone). I don't think I will be able to finish, I am back in school so that takes up a lot of time. Oh well.

i can't figure out my potion combinations.... sheer dumb luck got me the first potion, but now i'm lost.... jellyneo doesn't explain it worth bumpkiss and aardax doesn't explain it at all... trying to find another guide that gives better instructions on the combos cuz so far i've even been writing them down and i'm just getting random results

I wrote equations sort of. Here is an example for my first potion.

Grey + Blossom = green + berries = red.
Then I would just keep going.
I don't think that you use the same ingredients to get to each color the same time. For example, for my first potion, my first three ingredients were salt, root, salt. But, for my third potion, my first three were blossom, blossom, root.

i gave up and was using the different combos available but that doesn't work either because i would go from red to green to red to blue to purple and then if i did the same combo i had a different color.... i think mine's broken

I just got lucky. The last one is the hardest, of course. I just kept a list of everything that was added and what it made.

Just write down eveyrthing you do. That's what I did. My list looked something like this:

Leafy Slorgblossom: red > blue
Bronze Sansam: blue > blue
Bumroot: blue > purple
Bronze Sansam: purple > black

etc etc. Just write down everything that happens and you'll know what NOT to use the next time. When you get the right color, then try to move on to what should be the next color, and so forth and so on. Just keep doing this until you get the correct color combination and there's only one way to do it, luckily! NOTE: You have to do it ALL OVER for each of the three potions though.

I finally got the knack for it

For your first potion you have 3 ingredients and 3 clicks to get the right color, which is purple
Put one item in at a time and make note of what color it turns

Ex: Leafy Slorgblossom turned my potion green, then crushed jurpleberries turned it blue and then another crushed jurpleberries turned it purple

For the second potion, you have 4 ingredients and a maximum of 6 clicks to get to the rainbow potion.

I knew the leafy slorgblossom turned it green, then crushed jurpleberries turned it blue then another made it purple, I then had to figure out what made it turn black, then pink, then rainbow

Leafy Slorgblossom = green
Crushed Jurpleberries = blue
Crushed Jurpleberries = purple
salt = black
salt = pink
bumroot = rainbow

Now for the third potion it doesn't follow the rules of the first 2 in that suddenly leafy slorgblossom didn't turn it green. So I had to start all over with the combinations. You have 5 items and a maximum of 9 clicks to get it right. I got lucky and was able to skip green altogether.

My combinations were:

Bronze Sansam = blue
Bronze Sansam = purple
Bumroot = black
Crushed jurpleberries = pink
bumroot = rainbow
bumroot = green swirl
leafy slorgblossom = purple sparkly
bronze sansam = red swirl

You don't have to use all of the clicks to make the potion, it's just the right color. So you want to try to get green, blue, purple, black, pink, rainbow, green swirl, purple sparkly, then finally the red swirl. That's the orders.

Use the process of elimination. If you need to have the rainbow potion and you're on your 4th click with black and you add an ingredient that turns it green, hang it up bud. You're not going to get back where you were before it explodes. The goal is to go up in potions, not backwards. Hope this helps ya'll some... believe me I was totally frustrated.

OMG!!! i have not one but two pets stuck in the stinking battledome... last night spinx won a battle against the macabre stones i clicked the link to go back to the status page after winning then went to start another battle and his name wasn't in the list... he's not sick, he's not supposed to be in a battle, and he's got 69 hp but it plain out won't add his name to the list, so just to be sure i headed to the healing springs and sure enough it says that he's in a battle.... i refreshed the status page for 5 minutes straight, nothing, so i sent a bug report to tnt about noon and still nothing

not easily deterred, i started using daveyboy to battle... i want those plot points

what happens? but all of a sudden the pages won't load... it's a completely blank page with the url in the tab and the address bar and it doesn't matter what page it is, whether the status page or not... so now daveyboy and spinx are stuck in battles and tnt's not doing one flipping thing

so i can't get any further than 21 wins against the ominous stones, 18 or 19 wins against the macabre stones and nothing against the furious stones... i'm getting ripped off again! first the sidebar cuz their servers SUCK and now this all because their servers can't handle the load

Wow Lindsey, I only beat each of the three stones once. I missed two major chapters of this plot so I thought oh well.

well i eventually fought the three stones about 90 times combined, i'm now working on the trees, but i'm having some major problems with the pages not loading and then it just kicks me completely out of the fight, i've gotten the black elm once and fought the blathering beech twice, but it's kicked me out once so i don't even think i got a stat for that at all and this time the pages are starting to fail again

I missed battling the stones completely...once the trees were released you can't battle the stones. But I finished with the trees yesterday. I was having some of the same problems that lindsey mentioned. It was taking forever for the pages to load, and I would sometimes be in the middle of a battle and get an error page and have to start all over!
