Oh i feel like a Newbie .. but i just want to make sure i don't break the rules on neopets and get my account frozen..
What exactly arent u able to do on the other one (not ur main one) ??
can u transfer neopoints and items back and forth ? i know u cant do the dailies but wat else?

let's see, where to begin....
on your side account, no games, no shop, no dailies....
you can transfer items and neopoints back and forth because you have to take care of your pets.... you can get your omelettes and jelly but basically nothing else, you won't get in trouble if you find randoms or complete a faerie given quest, not the brain tree, esophagor, snow faerie, illusen, jhudora, edna, or cooking quests though
no employment agency stuff either
you can't have 2 shops.... but if you started out with a different main account you won't get in trouble for having 2 unless you actually use the one on your side account....
an example, my first main account was lindseycron0 that account was hacked and frozen, i had a very large shop in there, when it was hacked i switched to my other account lindseyacron and made it my main account, when i got my other account back the shop had been reduced to a size 1, so I still have a shop, but I can't use it for anything at all
they say you can have galleries on other accounts, but i don't think you can anymore since they've added the gallery feature besides our shops, used to people used shops for galleries and just priced the items at 100,000 or over so you couldn't buy them, now that we have galleries you can't price items in your shop that can't be bought
just to be safe, I wouldn't have a gallery on another account at all.... because you would be starting over on the price to increase the number of items whereas all on one it would eventually cost you a small fortune
you can't do the advent calendar or even get your monthly freebies on more than one account either

Wow, how do you know all that Lindsey? So much detail.  All I know is...well, to sum it up for ya, Nikky...Basically just avoid earning nps on your side account. Anything from playing games, to *you* intentionally choosing a quest, like Lindsey mentioned, would be against the rules and could result in your account getting frozen. They usually have warning labels on such things that you can't use extra accounts for, such as Lenny Conundrum and Advent Calendar. |

but I do believe you can enter the beauty contest on a side account if that's the account with the pet... I can't really remember that part
but I know you can't have shops on your side accounts because if you have a shop on your main account and you've paid to have it upgraded to allow the space for like 250 items, then when you upgrade again you're paying like 6400 for the next upgrade (an example nothing more) then if you had a shop on your other account you'd pay 150 to start that shop and you'd have room for those 5 items but for a fraction of the cost for the space.... so then you could upgrade your second shop to allow you to hold the same amount of items as your original shop but wouldn't be paying that much for it at all, that's why i think you shouldn't do it for a gallery either
the reason you can transfer neopoints is because you're not supposed to be earning np on your alternate account, but you may have to buy food or toys for your pets (to me it would be easier to just buy them on your main and transfer them directly over to your side) but say you want to put your pet in the NeoLodge, then you'd need to transfer the np over to do it
sometimes I think tnt makes it up as they go along, I've seen several Editorial answers that are in direct opposition to their Terms and Conditions but I don't want to get into it in case someone were to try to exploit it deliberately

Here's another example. Back before we could have a gallery and a shop on one account, I had my shop on my BunnyRabt account, and my gallery on my PrincessJanie account. Once we had the ability to have a gallery and a shop on one account, I decided to be safe I had better move everything from the PrincessJanie Shop/gallery to the new gallery on my BunnyRabt account. You can imagine how much that cost me to get a gallery up to enough size to hold all those Christmas items that had been on the PrincessJanie account. But I did it, so now I have a HUGE empty shop sitting on the PrincessJanie account that I can't use. But I don't dare (and I haven't) because I don't want to get frozen. I try to stick those pets in the Neolodge to keep them taken care of, but since I can't do much on that account half the time the poor things go hungry because I forget about them!
Just use some common sense and you should be ok. Basically don't do anything on your subaccount for profit, or to benefit anything other than feeding your pets, and you should be fine.

oh I know, I do the same thing on my other account, though I've only got one pet there now.... and I'm hoping to adopt her out soon (though that's not likely since the lab zapped her from disco back to blue)
though that IS one thing TNT said specifically can be done on both accounts, if you had the lab on your main account, like I did, and you switched main accounts, once again like I did, and got the lab on your new main account, you can access it on both accounts every day even though it's considered a game
i'm hoping to just get the lab map again on this account so i can zap either 2 pets or the same pet twice but that's not very high on my to-do list since i've already got it once
