Sponsor Links Gone!!

OMG can you guys believe it?! The easiet and quickest ways to make neopoints.. all gone.. because someone neomailed TNT and asked if it was okay to have them posted up like that.. and because of that person TNT took down all the sponsor pages.. Im so furious.. I got 40k+ a day with that guide! and i just found it like 2 days ago and found that it was a easy way to make nps .. nd now all that .. gone WAHHHH!! why TNT ? Why ??

Here's the full scoop....

someone has a petpage with these sponsor links. Any time anyone else makes a page of sponsor links, this one person always reports them to TNT for copyright infringement. TNT launches an investigation thinking that someone has posted their copyrighted material without crediting them... TNT not the person that has them posted.

After enough times of this happening from the EXACT SAME PERSON, tnt decided that you now have to post the source of the sponsor link, not the link itself. Then there's no more problems about "they stole my content"

and before you ask, yes I was reported for copyright infringement from this person... *no names mentioned*

However, as the links belong to TNT and not this person, when TNT checked my site, full credit for the material was given. I was informed that I was not the only person that was reported but I of course was not in violation. I couldn't even get reported for plagairism as I proved without a shadow of a doubt where I got all links and those that I didn't find personally I had credits for where I did get them. Close to 30 other people were also reported by the same person and that took a lot of TNT's time in investigating. Some were actually plagairizing (however it's spelled) and their accounts were frozen.

I wasn't worried about being frozen I was only hoping that that idiot got himself frozen by reporting everyone merely because he couldn't stand a little competition.... either way, no he knows that he'd better leave people alone cuz he can't report them for copyright infringement

I came so close to posting him specifically on my wall of shame but that's just dropping down to his level... but i don't think he'll be messing with me again.. i'm not some little kid that can be pushed around by someone who pretends to be smart and pretends to know what they're talking about

i actually find it rather humorous except that I was loving making over 60k off of my neopoints guide, now we have to wait until tnt adds more links before we can start earning those kinds of sums again

no, the sponsor links... on my site I had a Neopoints Guide which listed all the links that paid you to click on them for sponsors, like on the Monster House game is says to visit the website for 100 NP once daily or whatever, and TNT is making it where only links generated from the main neopets site and not links posted by users will actually pay out and those that were paying (we were making around 60k just for viewing trailers, playing the mini games like petpet adventures, visiting the sponsors, finding the hidden np, and sending neogreetings) have almost all been removed... as an example, all the hidden np added up to 4100 NP per day just to find them, holly hobbie and sparkle body spray had quit paying out for some reason, but since this person was pitching a fit about anyone else that had something like that up, TNT has removed almost all of them

go to your inventory and hover your mouse over the neopets toolbar or puzzle pirates and you'll see a link like neopets.com/process_click.phtml?item_id=7897

well, even if you didn't find that link on neopets but simply went through every one of them, you could see which ones redirected to sponsors, so then you click on them to see if they pay out and how many times they pay out... it was a pretty long list of links like that that would pay out for every time you clicked on them... I had several links that you clicked once to earn 1000 NP or that you clicked 3 times to earn 1200 total, either way, the total np we were earning just for those sponsor clicks was over 25000 and was steadily going up until this person reported over 30 people that had supposedly stolen them from him (as if we couldn't figure them out on our own) I even had a list of about 20 new links that were paying out that weren't listed on any site yet and I was just waiting to see what total payout was before I could post it) now we have to link to the page on neopets that has the link or it won't pay out because of him... and there's nothing wrong with it at all, but that's how i was paying for my stocks every day... do the sponsor clicks, earn over 60k for all of it, go buy stocks, go do turdle racing and put the rest in the bank... after christmas i had less than 3k np and in 2 days i was back over 100k while still buying my stocks for those days and playing my regular games of suteks tomb and petpetsitter and was still getting up there every day in np

UPDATE!!!!

It looks like TNT has disabled pet pages from posting sponsor links. When a petpage posts a sponsor link, the url automatically removes the process_click part of the link. The same happened to my list of links. I still have my old copy before removing all of the links, but as soon as I edited the links to add the process_click part back in, they were once again working. I don't know what the payout would be right now because payout had dropped to a very slow crawl that could be as long as 24 hours, but I'm putting the links back in hopes that they do still payout, even if it takes a long time to get it.

And just to be clear, you have a page on your site with a bunch of URLs that all you have to do is click on to get NP and you get about 6,000 NP per day? 6k just for clicking on stuff?

hahaha, cuz you never paid attention, but it looks like i can still post all the links and they'll still work, i just need to make sure they're still paying out

they were paying out in less than an hour, but it got where it was almost a full day, either way, that's still a lot of np for doing nothing more than clicking links

and I have already added some of them back and I got offline to see if they were paying out, I come back and I've got over 4000 np that I didn't have before, so it looks like it's still working

That's great news linds! I was making 50 - 60K a day using those links! I was so ticked off when i found that they weren't paying out yesterday. Some people just can't stand to have any competition. Well hopefully all of them will start paying out again. And dl, linds posted a while back about her neopoints guide, 20k in 20 minutes. Of course back then it was only 20k, but recently we were making quite a bit more than that.
