I am so upset. I had a snow paint brush in trades for 675000 nps. I had two offers for the same amount one was in a different language but had a better item so I accepted it. I got the item and 675 nps. I feel this person scammed me and I reported him. Hopefully I will get my paint brush back but I am not going to hold my breath. just be careful with trades listed in foreign languages because it is like real money the amount showing might not be the same. I feel so sick about the whole thing. I know it is just pixels and not real stuff but I feel like I was robbed.

That was very rude of them! Paint brushes are worth a lot more than 675 and whatever the other item was worth! I hope they give it back! Because i have to agree that it seems like you were robbed!  |

The problem was both offers said 675, 000 nps the item was only worth 500

oh gosh daisy..i agree..i think the person took advantage of the situation..thanks for the heads up on that because it would be hard to know the difference in money translations...i think there should be a way if you have your lanuage set to a preference those reading it should be able to read it translated....i agree i think it was a matter of the person knowing you being an english speaking person that the offer would appear to be different. seeings how they knew enough to offer what in english would read the proper offer

Maybe it was some kind of neopet glitch and it's a mistake. What language was the offer in? I don't think the language changes should apply to the nps. It should have one value, period. Doing it any other way makes it too easy for misunderstandings, or for unscrupulous people to trick others.
Maybe Neopets will straighten it out. I hope so. That's a lot of nps to lose.

I agree with bunny.... Neopets currency should be exactly the same no matter what language. Neopoints are neopoints, end of story.
Let us know how it turns out, I really hope the Neopets team can get this fixed for you. This is one reason why I usually only accept official offers made through the trading post, and not neomailed offers...that way they can't offer one thing and give me something else.

This was made through the trading post. It was in a foreign language. The nps were the same on both offers. The guy says he is a computer programmer so I am sure knows a way to make things appear as if they are right but they aren't.
