OK i love pirates ;So naturally i love krawk island. When i go there i try and buy things but can't because i need dubloons and Don't have any.  Does anyone know how to get dubloons and if you know more than one way which way is the fastest?  |

The quickest way is to buy dubloons, but I get free dubloons periodically from Cotzan's shrine. You can also go to the trading post and make an offer for dubloons. I imagine the auction block has them too. Good luck!  |

yeah other than coltans shrine thats the only place you can once in a while get free ones...once you become magic cloud and get picked for the magic cloud of the month dl gives out a 10 dubloon coin for that months most active magic cloud

Actually Magic Clouds of the Month get a prize worth about 50k. Good, active, members who become "Members of the Month" get the dubloon coin. Also, you can try making a wishlist here at the guild and you might be surprised if someone actually reads it and passes you one along! |

You can also play the Pawkeet Slots....every now and then you will win one there. That's how I've gotten most of the ones I've had.

well, on the black pawkeet slots you have to max bet and get 3 or more treasure chests, then when you pick which chests to open, you have to open one with a dubloon, and I've only managed that once in the whole time I've been playing.... but there's a trick to the shrine, I can't remember the specific times to get the dubloon but it's on Neopets Made Easy under Special Times. Also, I've gotten both the one and two dubloon coins. Other than that, it's basically just random unless you buy one from someone.
There's two other things to keep in mind. The dubloon-o-matic only makes larger denominations of dubloons from small ones... so if you took in a two dubloon coin and three one dubloon coins it would pop out a five dubloon coin. If you buy something that costs 30 dubloon coins and you pay with a higher coin, you will get change back.
Dubloons are sometimes tricky little buggers. I remember when Lisa and I made a decent profit when buying larger dubloon coins, then eating at the Golden Dubloon and getting change back to sell the smaller ones, but then the prices evened out where it wasn't a profit anymore.

For a while there I was playing the slots a lot, and there was one certain treasure chest that gave me a dubloon over and over. It hasn't done that the same way for a while now. Probably one of those glitches that they fixed - just my luck.
