tomorow i take my wife to city of hope where she is going to have major surgery due the fact she has colon cancer..... if at all posible or whatever you believe, a simple prayer for her well being would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

I will be praying as well. Oh and not to take away from your wife, but my grandmother recently found out that she has breast cancer so please keep her in your prayers as well. Thank you.

Thank you everyone for your prayers... she got to come home today... the surgery was a success.... although she still has to recover from the surgery and do some follow up treatment, everything is looking pretty good.
I will be praying for your grandmother to Kris!

Oh Phil thats great that the surgery went well. The city of hope is one of the best in cancer research so I know that everything will turn out the best. Healing prayer is so powerful and I know everyone will continue to send healing thoughts to your wife and as well for your grandmother kris!

my warmest wishes are going out to your grandmother kris and for your wife's swift recovery phil, i don't know what it's like to have colon cancer, i hear it's the worst kind for anyone to have and I am truly thankful that her surgery was a success....
I totally sympathize (and empathize) for anyone that has or has had cancer and I will continue to hope that everything is fine with both of your loved ones

I'm so glad that your wife is doing so well, Phil, and I pray that continues. Please keep us updated.
And I hope your Grandma does okay, kris. There is a lot they can do for cancer, and more new treatments all the time.
My grandma isn't doing so well either; she's in Methodist Hospital in Indy and it's possible she may lose part of her leg. Her age is against her (94) but she's spunky!

oh goodness bunny! I hope that doesn't happen, from everything that you've said about your grandma it would be such a life altering surgery for her that I worry what it would do to her mentally after all the rest of the stress that she's going through.... i truly hope it doesn't come to that
