Kick-Off! - Round one of the Altador Cup starts now! Get out on the field and do your best for your team. This first round ends Sunday, 11th June at Midnight NST. Good Luck! (And don't forget to read the Tournament Updates!) If you haven't signed up yet, don't worry! You can still sign-up while the round is in progress. Just be sure you choose wisely. You will not be able to switch once you have chosen!  9th June - Kick-Off!At last, the day everyone's been waiting for has arrived, as the first round matches of the Altador Cup tournament are set to get underway. Taking a moment to analyse the brackets, there are a few matchups that promise to provide plenty of fireworks during the early going. For example, in a battle that's being billed as "The Moon vs. The Goons," those creepy competitors from the Haunted Woods are squaring off against Kreludor's scrappy squad of relentless battlers. While there's no telling which side shall emerge victorious in this torrid test of wills, the one thing you can be sure of is that it'll certainly be entertaining. Another major storyline that's emerging just before the start of the tournament's knockout round is the pairing of Brightvale and Kiko Lake. As mentioned in the last report, Kiko Lake has suffered from a recent string of injuries that have left the team on the verge of collapse. With recovering star forward Helmo Timm set to make her return to the lineup, Kiko Lake fans must've been devastated to learn that they'll be facing the dreaded Brightvale squad in Round One. Brightvale, notorious for their use of roughhouse tactics, will almost certainly try to take a cheap shot at Timm and put her back on the sidelines for good. Will she be able to answer the challenge and lead Kiko Lake to an unlikely victory, or will the bruisers from Brightvale simply be too much?

Pretty fun! I like how you can just keep playing until you feel like submitting your score. I was afraid it would be automatic..and since I'm not so hot at it, I didn't think I would much help my team. Even though I haven't won a game yet lol, I didn't practice before round 1 and I've only just played a few..plus I tied a game so I think that should count for something.  Edit: Just won a game for Roo Island! Whee! ;D We're up against Tyrannia. How are you all doing, and who's your opponent in the current round? |

Mystery Island is against Faerieland... I am not good at this game. But when I first tried playing I submitted my lose to just try.
But I have more time this weekend to practice and earn points. I bet there are going to be trophies for the team and the player with the highest score.

Altador Cup - Staff Tournament!Sixteen members of the Neopets staff have been assigned a team, and each will compete in our own mini Altador Cup tournament! Choose who you think will take first, second and third place, and if you're right, you'll win a prize! Staff tournament rounds will coincide with regular tournament rounds, and the same match-ups that exist in the real tournament will be played out in our tournament. However, no staff scores will count towards the real tournament. That would be cheating.  We'll tally up staff scores individually, and those scores will determine who stays and who goes in each round. Voting will end on Monday, 9th June! Haha, that's how most of my games end up..that is, if I win. Sometimes I'm pretty close, other times I tie. But overall I'm not too good at this game yet. I've picked up a few tips along the way - both my own and from others on Roo Island. Still haven't helped much actually lol..but if I practice and implement them I think it'll be ok. |

After playing today, I was SO surprised at how much I had improved just overnight! (Ok, it sounds like I'm advertising a product lol)
But seriously..I think I went from roughly 50% wins to 90%! Once you get the hang of your strategies whatever they may be, the game suddenly seems a whole lot easier.

Round 2 Sign-Ups have begun! There are 8 teams left in the Altador Cup tournament and round 2 will begin in a few days. If your team was eliminated, fear not! You can select one of the remaining teams to continue on! (It's a good idea to do so... the more you play, the better your prizes.) If you were on a team that advanced, it's a good idea to stay put, but you have the option to switch if you like! Beware of angry teammates, though!  Resign up here!
