isn't there a way like when you move a thread you can just delete them after a while. they are fogging up so many of the boards. if they contain important info then leave them but those that were made and closed then it would look so much better to just delete them....but not sure if others feel this way.

I prefer to delete them, but it depends on what they are. If they kinda show board history, and seem important, I tend to leave them. I think if a post is moved, the notification that the thread has been moved can be deleted.
But I'm with you on how it looks, fairy. I've said so before, but not sure what thread I said it in.

Do not delete any threads for any reason unless they are threatening, hurftul, or flaming. Notifications of moved threads are one of the primary threads to not delete. Threads that are locked serve the purpose of not only following the rules but of letting others know what not to do on the boards. This is why I ask that whenever you lock a thread to be sure to explain why it is you're locking it.

Well it's a good thing you didn't go to USC they are afraid of people thinking too much too and so they make it super easy so that the Trojans don't hurt their brains.

Speaking ON topic of this thread lol...I agree with you fairy, it would look nice without all the gray cloud closed threads. But thanks for clearing it up, Dl. Some of the threads that were closed had like 1 or 2 posts and I, too, wondered why they weren't just deleted.

well if i think about something more than once...it will eventually find its way out of my mouth...not that i think it will help all the time but like i said if i think it atleast 2 times..i have to say it or put it out there to be thought about

I understand about not deleting the threads, because sometimes it is kind of neat to be able to go back and look through some of the really old ones. But...it is also kind of confusing to have so many of them there! Isn't there some way to just add another category or something. Some sort of archive for threads that haven't been posted on in over a year or something? Or a special forum thingy for all the locked clouds (that aren't being actively used of course by Dl or whoever)? Just curious...all this grey cloud talk got my brain movin. lol
