T'was a warm night before new years, and all through the guild,
The members were scurrying, with toys to build.
They built toy trains, plushies and dolls too
All to bring random giveaways to you!
They gathered their paints, their hammers and nails,
And started to build when one of them wailed!
"Oh! My ankle, it's swollen and red!
Now I'll never finish this little doll's bed!"
The guild members ran to see what was the matter,
Teensy, the smallest, had slipped off of the ladder!
She sat and she Brat!bed and she showed them her foot,
They could tell it was bad with just one look.
So together they picked her up off of the floor,
And carried her off right out the door!
Up the stairs and to her bed,
They told her to rest and pulled up the spread.
All wrapped up warm, she rested and slept,
Downstairs, they were busy with a brand new concept.
They rustled and hustled and bustled along,
They worked through the evening and all night long!
Soon they were off to give out the toys,
Then they all headed home trying not to make noise.
They crept up the stairs and they all went to bed.
Trying to rest, they had a big day ahead!
As the sun starting shining, Teensy awoke,
She sat up in her bed and then she spoke,
"Oh Mikey, Oh Darla, Oh Charlie and Sue,
Oh Sarah, Oh Tommy, I love it! Thank you!
For there on the floor all shiny and red
Was her very own, finished doll bed!

Not an Elf but the Guardians surrounded by toys to be assemble and to build.
They looked at me with sweat from their brows said, "hand me a hammer and a screwdriver while your here,
Santa came but not a toy was complete, I guess he didn't have time and ran back to his deer.
But the guild members are anxious to play with these toys and its been a while since the big day,
Its been hours and even several days and not yet these toys have they been able to play.
So if you will help us finish this task, your help would be so kind!
This is the last day we can work on these toys so can't you see we're in a bind?
So with the Christmas spirit still warm in my heart, I bent down and grabbed the pieces of a toy,
I wonder if this toy would be for a girl or a boy?
I looked for the instructions cause I could not tell what this toy might be,
And at my feet the instructions I found, ah it was a barbies well lit tree!
We worked and we worked as the guardians assembled toys and structures from blocks,
the day light approaching as we finished up the last toys when we heard the clangs of alarm clocks.
Down raced the members from their rooms to play!
When the members saw the finished toys they jump in the air and shouted "HOORAY"

Every creature was awake, and an excitement began to build.
The guardians turned on the tunes and the glittering disco ball. The room was decorative and cheery. This was, by far, the most anticipated time of all!
The clock struck 11:45 - this was it! 15 minutes never seemed so long. Suddenly the lights began to flicker ominously...Something was surely wrong!
The room turned from joy to panic as the electricity went out. All pets, guild members, and guardians were left in confusion and doubt.
One question hung in the air like a stubborn balloon. Why did this happen now? The new year was arriving soon!
Being the guardian of light, Ilumenia took matters into her own hands. Literally! She cupped her hands and concentrated, conjuring light in thin strands!
The light grew strong and stretched across the room with all Ilumenia's power. The clock was again visible for the countdown! A grateful applause erupted in a shower.
The timing couldn't have been better picked. Nearing midnight, all eyes glued to it, the clock ticked.
And then hearing those 12 chimes was oh-so pleasant...for here it came! The new year had graced all with its presence.
As the party dwindled down, the buzz of laughter and chat still littered the air. And you can bet that at the next new year's party, Ilumenia will surely be there.
