I read all of his books (1-5) and saw the 3 movies.. I liked the third one, but i really think they skipped many parts of the movie.. SOme things got unexplained... For example, they didn't say enough about the four friends (Lupin, Peter, Sirius and Thiago[in brazil it's Thiago Potter, but i think in USA is James Potter] and their nicknames, that i don't know in english)... BTW, Hermione is Getting more beautiful by the time.

I go with MC... In the first one she wasn't exactly as i imagined.. She was kinda strange.. Not beautiful.. In the second she was a little prettier.. But in this one, she's beautiful. In no time she'll become a woman.. Unfortunately, she's from UK (I think...)... I'm kinda away. hehehehe

I know the author is a girl.. J.K Rowling.. When i said his books, i was talkin about harry.. hehehe... Just a hard guess... Tell me the right names if i'm wrong: Moony is Lupin, Wormtail is Peter, Padfoot is Sirius, Prongs is James. I'm using the logic to guess it, cause the nicknames here are really different!

yep you are righgt on all accounts lupin in moony because he changes into a werewolf at the full MOON james is prongs because he turned into a stag(that was his animagus) and the stag's horns looked like PRONGS sirius is padfoot because a dog's feet are PADDED and peter is wormtail because when he was in his rat form, hisTAIL looked like a WORM

Well.. Here in Brazil we got: Moony = Aluado (Lua is Moon, so...) Padfoot = Almofadinhas (almofada is cushion and a dog foot is soft as a cushion, i think is cushion... hehe) Prongs = Pontas (ponta is Edge and the animal that James turned into has horns, so the edge of the horn we call pontas) Wormtail = Rabicho (Rabicho is like little tail. The one with that kind of tail is Peter, who turn into a rat) That's why i made that wild guess.

well I would definitely say that your guesses were educated, hehe, a lot like mine. and I agree in the movie, they didn't explain that at all!

know another thing that bothered me about the movie, was how they portrayed the patronus! they showed it as a white glowing shield! when, in fact, it was nothing like that, I always imagined that the stag would come and fight off all the dementors, but instead, in the movie, they just hada glowing white shield that came out of the stag, the stag didn't even move! that really dissapointed me. also, when was it ever said that the dementors could fly? I mean, I can deal with the flying part thoguh, I guess, since it is kinda artistic lisence, and JK never really specified.....

Yeah... I aggree with u... The patronus for me was always the animal, but the first one that he did, i thought it was goin to be a little stag... The other would be much stronger. But this scene, i remeber that he was with Hermione, not with Sirius... But i know that JK said that the dementors could float.. DOn't remeber if they could fly, but they can float!

yea, that is why I wasn't so upset about the dementors, cuz that was open to argument, but in the book it said that his patronus took the form of a stag, and I was looking forward to seeing the stag fight of the dementors. also, I was looking forward to the quidditch match between harry and malfoy for the cup! and that they just totaly left out of the movie! now I am not a big sports fan, but that was a big part of the book to leave out!

Yeh... it was really a mess... that was a very good part of the movie that they cut... They said that he gained a Firebolt, but didn't show him lookin at the firebolt and after receiveing the professors took it from him to take look on it... Then after some time he receive again...

Yeah.. i just can't imagine what willç happen in the next 2 movies... The 4th book is really big, at about two times the third one and the 5th one is even bigger! The 6th and the 7th shall be reall really big! But the movies have a certain duration of time and it can't pass it, that's the bad thing! Oh man, i have even heard that the 4th movie it won't have the part that Harry is in the Dursley's house... But ok, i admit the beggining of the fourth book wasn't really good, but if it keep this way, the fifth will probably have many scenes cut and the beginning of it is Cool!

I think I read somewhere that the 4th book is going to be made into 2 movies. Or maybe they were talking about the 5th book....I'll look it up.

The Harry Potter book "The Goblet of Fire" is going to split into two movies instead of just one.

Its kinda strange talkin to u bout the movies and the books of Harry Potter... The names are different, so sometimes i have to guess what r u talkin about... Kinda difficult.. At least the names r almos the exact translation... But some names and nicknames... The names in English and Portuguese r ABSOLUTELY different... Like Muggles (NOn wizard ppl)... i never heard Muggle in all my life, only in Harry Potter...

At least that.. if they did only in one movie the goblet of fire it would be kinda bad... but the worst part is that we'll have to pay TWICE to see the movie...
