Yes, it's called sarcasm We were kidding around about going witheach other and I was definetly joking around about messing around with him in the theatre! Oh and the pictures themselves aren't scary... they are snapshots from the scarriest MOMENTS in the film. I know, I just like teasing people about being gay.

I found the movie very dissapointing. Very scary but the story-line was nothing. I suppose I feel that way because I loved the original movie (Ju-on). It was scaried than it's original yet the plot.... aiiie don't get me started. One big thing I was dissapointed in was this particular scene [/img] I still wish me chica would go watch it with me
That wasn't done quite so well as the first one. In the original she takes forever to get down the stairs and it is so much freakier and more realistic but myeah. Oh and one huge thing I hated was ... *SPOILER* The woman never killed anyone (though it's in question as to whether or not she killed the sister, you know the one whos bed she suddenly appeared in?) it was her husband. She served more as a warning and Toshiyo (the little boy) never killed anyone either. He Just meowed and looked freaky. *END SPOILER* Yes the ending was done badly but there's apparently a sequel to the original so there'll probably be a sequel for the English one too. One other thing that was kool about the original (apart from many scenes that never made it into the English one) was that in the end the woman finds out that you only see the ghosts (if that's what you'd call them) when you cover your face with your hands and peek through your fingers. That was really kool when she figured that out. Myeah, t'was ok but the original was WAAAY better oh and did anyone else laugh in the very begining when that guy kinda dies? lol. I felt rather sadistic but everyone else in the cinema laughed so I didn't fell so bad.

Yea the American version was pretty bad story wise and while it was scary all the death scenes were pretty similar. Everyone in the theatre laughed when Bill Pullman threw himself over the balcony. That could be partly intentional though I don't think that was what the director was going for but since there was no emotional attachment to that character and since it's the opening scene in the movie it just seemed, akward, out of place, and to be honest... funny! No sadism... it was just badly pulled off so it was funn ;D
