If you would like to submit any work worth sharing with our other members, here's the place to get the info to do it! Just make sure that it's about Neopets or the guild. Remember when we say about Neopets or the guild that means you can talk about anything that would likely happen in Neopia so you can talk about things like colors, faeries, sports (just not sports teams), etc etc as long as it isn't too real worldly it should be accepted.
Here are the guidelines and courses of action to take...
* It is strictly forbidden as it is not only against ours and Neopets rules but also against the law, if you are submitting a work done by someone else, proper citing information must be submitted. If we find a work that has been illegally reproduced, it will not appear in the newsletter and you may be banned from the guild. If you are unsure, please contact dlfreak
* We are looking for short stories, poems, and interesting articles to publish. All written pieces (except for poems) Should be AT LEAST 550 words long. That's about one single-spaced page in Word. Please try to keep articles at least this long and try not to go over double that.
* Creativity and interest are key factors, so make sure your writing is at its best and check for spelling, grammar, and other mistaks. Proof-read!!
* ALL MATERIAL SUBMITTED MUST BE NEOPETS OR GUILD RELATED. No exceptions.
DO NOT submit any articles directly on this board... they will be deleted.
The names and the titles of the works that have been chosen for publication will be posted here in the last week of month, so don't forget to check back!
Last of all, get creative and expressive... your words could be the highlight of someone else's day!!
All works should be submitted to slcgnewsletter via PM by the following deadline: Wednesday, July 27, 2004 Anything submitted later than that will be on hold until the next newsletter.
