Thanks guys. Mom is doing pretty good now. She got really sick the day after surgery, so we think it was either her pain meds or the anesthesia. Not sure. Anyway, she's doing ok for now.

You won't believe this. Now my brother-in-law with the heart problems is having hernia surgery on Monday! It's almost laughable the way everything is happening at once. His surgery won't really occupy my time a great deal though. Usually for his heart procedures I go and stay with Becky (sister-in-law) while he's in getting stuff done, but I can't leave Cis that long now.

I just hope the rest of my family holds together for a while! Now all we need is for the baby to come early. Hopefully that won't happen.

On a good note, Cissy gets a little stronger every day, and isn't having accidents in the house or anything. I think her elimination functions are almost back to normal. She can go up to 4 hours now without going out, which is almost normal for her. I'm just so thankful for that. She is still weakest on her right hind leg. That's the one that was paralyzed the worst, with no deep pain sensation at all. But it's getting better all the time. Things are looking up.
