Ok, I couldn't stand it so I looked it up.  I'm a bad, bad person. I'm not going to post what it is since I did cave and look it up. I was NEVER going to get it, although I know the song. If I had heard the melody I would have gotten it right away, or at least who sings it if not the title. It wasn't a big favorite for me. I like some of their other songs better. Once someone does guess it I have some comments about the group who sings it. (You can smack me now, Lisa) |

But in my defense, I was only a baby in the early '80's lol! I've probably heard it, but like bunny, it's harder for me to guess without hearing it (unless it's one I know really well).

Okay, now that you've mentioned Journey, have you guys seen their new lead singer? He sounds EXACTLY like the old one, but he is (I think) Korean. It just seems odd for me. If I don't SEE him, it's ok, but when I do I miss the other singer. The group saw his video on YouTube and contacted him and hired him. They were on the Ellen Degeneris show.
I do like them though.

the story i heard was when steve perry found out he had throat cancer...he and the band held auditons and when they saw and hear this guy..whatever his name is..they immediately hired him....the first time they ever used him it was said they didn't even reveal it wasn't steve perry until he performed one of his hardest songs..then they told everyone...but that was the story a DJ told me...i would think Ellens show would have the inside scoop

Cool. It will go nicely with all the other things I'm stashing away in my SDB for a rainy day. No, really, I'm trying to get the packrat av. It's hard. So, thanks for helping.
And, a seriously good idea for this music game is to start doing it by either genres or decades. I mean, that way you can have a sort of guideline to go by, as do we all.
That's just a suggestion. I'm a big mouth, can't keep it shut.
