well besides painting my uni royal my other main goal is to get the entire lab map. i already have two pieces but i want to start buying the ones i can afford. but im not sure how much each piece is worth so im afriad of getting ripped off. does anyone have any advice on how to buy map pieces or knows of a good webite that has info on them?  |

I have five lab map pieces so far, and I got them all through random events. At some point, I'll go and get all of them because my primary pet, a Usul has limited options for painting (eg, if Shadow Usul *items* exist, why can't Usuls be painted Shadow???), and because on Usul Day, we only got new shopkeepers. Not even free training. <sigh>
When I've seen lab map pieces for sale, they've been about 60,000-80,000 NPs each.

yeah its hard to search out lab map piece for pricing...i got mine a long time ago...but you can't look up specific pieces..you have to check each search find to see what map piece they have in their shops. tarla has given several pieces away...but tarla doesn't visit me any more since i didn't download foxfire..it's suppose to work on Internet Explorer..but mine doesn't work

i went on the notice board to see what people are selling and there are a few pieces for sale that i think are probably the ones everyone got from the toolbar. two common ones i saw i dont have and they varied around 50,000-100,000NPs. but the other pieces i would have to get from the trading post and a few of the pieces are really really expensive. so i might just buy the cheaper ones now and maybe wait and see if any are given away with the toolbar again.
yeah Capt if they had a shadow usul paintbrush i would definetly adopt a usul. =)

As a Mac user, I can't get anything from the Toolbar, because it's not supported. I have found, however, that the folks who have full sets of the lab map pieces tend to have them priced most agressively. So in the Trading Post, search for the lab map, then look for people who are selling full sets. That will give you a good idea of the prices.

well i have an extra set i collected for drewalot...i got mine..then collected all the pieces for my other son drakeheart94....then as soon as drake got the map..he basically quit neopets..he will go to the advent calendar...or check in once in a blue moon...but made me so mad..i wish drew would take that account..so i won't have wasted all those nps to buy that and then turn around and give drew another set...cause if he quits..i will be madddddd!!!

lol he better use it, that would be such a waste if he didn't!!! and it takes so long to save up the NPs for one, i could buy a full map at the moment but then i would have to start over with saving up for my paintbrush......so i think im gonna wait till i get enough for the paintbrush and then buy the rest of the map.

i am still working on one of my pets...after i get its stats up or i find a pet i like most...then not sure what i'll do...maybe start on my kougra again...alot of the wearables just dont' look good on her....but some it took a while...the kougra i stuck with after a few zaps and got robot...the shoyru was in the beginning a lupe....the ixi i adopted but zapped to darigan and stayed...then sampson the now mynic...was in the beginning a blue yurble....its been many many many pets...

no its not..you just go everyday..once a day and just zap and hope for good results..it can also give you bad like take away stats but for the most part it evens out that you come out on top

awe drew..your so tender hearted..no the pets don't like being zapped but we love the results..and no matter if they change species they will always say...i like being whatever they are at that moment
