i had around 1900 points to spend and man i had a tough time deciding which plushie to get, but i decided to get the faerie yooyu plushie! i also was able to get some of the frisbees and a couple of slushies as well. im hoping i can buy the slushie slinger plushie for a fair price since i didnt have enough to get both of em.  |

well i just purchased that plushie and trying to buy the petpet..yeah just got the Fire Yooyu for 750k plus 3 one coin dubloons

wow that's too expensive for my bank account lol. i looked up how much the slushie slinger plushie was going for and the cheapest i found was 25,000. so i think im gonna pass. i have to stick to my goals i guess hehe

well the only reason i bought it was..the value is more than likely gonna be around the same..there is a limited amount of them floating around so its worth the price. if not i can always resell them. it will always be a rare petpet because they are automatically gonna retire now the game is over. but i looked at my bank account today..and i had pulled myself out of the hole once this past year but right back in it again....i have to quit spending!

thats awesome that you were able to buy one fairy, like you said the petpet is gonna be a rare one and will probably go up in value =).
and to answer your question cotton, the more you played yooyu ball, slushie slinger, and make some noise; the more points you got to spend at the altador cup prize shop =)

Well I got the Haunted Woods shirt, 5 different types of frisbees, and 4 different slushies. I really wanted the Fire Yooyu but I didn't have enough.  |

i played amost three straight days of yyb then i got sick of it. if i would of kept going i could of gotten the fire yooyu, maybe ill try harder next year =p.
so does the trophy you get in your userlookup depend on what team you were playing for???

i don't know...i don't think so unless you have one of the top contenders..like i got a second place trophy for last years...but if you fall below those top 3 you get a normal participation trophy

I think Neopets got bored with trying to come up with prizes this year. Last year, if I remember correctly, there was at least a little bit of variety. Its like they aren't even trying anymore. And I played almost everyday, 20 TIMES A DAY, and all they gave me was 2,019 points. I was really bummed that I couldn't buy the yooyou. I guess next year I'll have to give up my complete social life, stop eating, and stop sleeping so that I can play enough to get all of the prizes next year. lol
