I know a lot of our veteran guild members already know about the portal or have it, but I wanted to post this for our newer members =). The Premium Neopets Portal is a great tool that I use everyday to keep things organized and to find items at the lowest price possible. The web package also includes you own neopets webmail account, and TNT gives you other random events through this. I have gotten a lot of rare items for free this way ^_^ . You ALSO get a space faerie scratch card for free once a week! They're a lot like the other scratchcards only there's a better chance of winning. You also get access to the Super Shop Wizard, which gives you the lowest prices for any item you want, usually the prices are significantly lower than anything you'll find on the regular Shop Wizard, which is really cool! Here's a screen shot of what my portal looks like, you can customize pretty much everything and change the color schemes and theme. you can also choose what tools you want and don't want to use. and there's a toolbar with a direct link to all of the dailies at the top so you don't have to search for them =). I've had the premium portal for a while now, ever since Bunny referred me and I have grown to really like it. It's $7.99 per month but I think it's worth more than that with how much I use it =D. No, it's not another browser. When you are a premium member, a link will appear on your regular Neopet page when you log in, up at the top right hand side, that says Portal. If you click on that, it takes you to another type of Neopet home page. It looks like the screen shot that Devin posted, and you can customize it with colors, and different plug in sections (kind of like a myspace page with less options). Premium members have a web-based neopet email account that can be used like a regular email, not a neomail. (I'm assuming the same censorship is used here, but am not sure because I don't use it much and I haven't needed censoring in it..haha) It's convenient because this page shows you everything at a glance..your bank balance, your top stocks, who is online, your pet stats, what's in your inventory, and pretty much everything that on the regular neosite you have to click on and open in a new window. There are links that go immediately to the popular areas of Neopets...the various wheels, etc. That's convenient. It shows your high game scores, and you can even customize it with outside non neopet stuff...like stocks, etc.
I probably use the Super Shop Wiz more than anything else. It's handy to look things up for giveaways, because you don't have to search more than once. It automatically brings up the lowest price the first time. You still can't search for paint brushes though.
All in all I think it's a good value for the 7.99 it costs. (and that's per month - mine is an automatic debit out of my checking account which is convenient)

I think captvatng1 is premium and she uses foxfire. I have it on my computer but prefer IE, so I don't use foxfire enough to know how the toolbar reacts with it.

If you have the newest version of firefox the toolbar wont work on it, that's what I have and I can't use the toolbar anymore because of it.

No, it's just that the random events come in an email. I don't even know what my premium email address is...probably bunnyrabt@neopets.com. Now I have to go and see what it is!  |

not that much ive been getting alot of faerie quest but i did get this deep space armour  i looked it up its worth 10 k i think and a secrect lab map in key quest. but that doesnt deal with portal hahah |
