Simply get 5000 points plus in the game Snowmuncher

Since some members have recently been talking about this avy, I thought I would bump this thread and post a few hints.

The first thing you need to know is that Dieter the Polarchuck bloatage (cool word, huh?) goes up 5% for each snow block he eats. The grey mud squares take two bites from Dieter, and therefore increases his bloatage by 10%. When Dieter eats a Bloat-B-Gone, his bloatage is decreased by 50%. There is also a nifty little cheat provided by the Wheel of Knowledge that decreases Dieter’s bloatage by 50%. Simply type in “buuuurrrrrrrrp” (that’s 1 b, 4 u’s, 8 r’s and 1 p) whenever you need it. You can only use this code once throughout each game so make sure you save it until you absolutely need it. Green and purple gems give you extra points while clocks give you extra time.

On the first level, 3 things are going for you.
1) There are large sections of same-colored blocks, so it is easy to get cascades going that demolish the snow around you and let you move more horizontally.
2) There is more time than is needed just to get the Bloat-B-Gone and get down, as long as you don't dally.
3) There are no snow worms to worry about. As a result, on level 1, you should get all of the gems. Now, how to do that?

well, none of the guides are helping me, even if i get to the bottom of level 2 or whatever and then wait for my time to run out so i can start over with another life.... i still can't seem to get 5k, that's like ice cream machine, i think i've gotten like 12k on it and that's about it

Woo hoo! after reading the sunnyneo guide and two hours straight of playing I finally got this one!!!! I had to start over too because when I first got to 5000 pts. it rejected my score, grrrrr! But I finally got another high score after that =D. It's really cute!
