Yes, the exteriors to the Desperate Housewives homes are shot there. The yellow one is Eva Longoria's characters house. THe 1313 mockingbird lane picture is the house of the Munsters. Universal Studios is a real movie studio and holds the records for the most movies, commericals, tv shows filmed there ever.

Not really, it's essentially been the same since as far as I can remember back into the 80s when I first went...
Down the hill, Allan Smitty bridge, King Kong set, Earthquake set, Jaws, Colonial street (the neighborhood with all the houses), New York Street, Courthouse Square, Little Europe, lake with the blue sky backdrop, rotating tunnel, end.
With small variations depending on shooting schedule.
