Haha, well its cuz Tomorrowland is being repainted from its brown/gold color scheme to whites and silvers and this weekend some of scaffolding and tarps came down and they were dying to see how it looked hence those first few pics Also, all of this work around the park is in prepartion for their 50th Anniversary which is in July. The party starts off 05-05-05 though so they are rushing to make the park spic and span. The people who ran Disneyland prior to last year were severe budget cutters so a lot of the park was faded, chipping, etc and they didn't open any rides. The last ride after Indiana Jones (which opened just before the cost-cutting management took over) was 10 years later with a cheap underwhelming Winnie the Pooh ride. The new people in charge though are opening up a snazzy new Buzz Lightyear ride with lazers that guests can shoot at targets with against people on the internet and get their score at the end. They are also planning on reopening the submarines (a budget cut under the past management) with a Finding Nemo theme. They are also in the works for a Monsters Inc ride at California Adventure Lots giong on at Disney right now! You may have seen all the commercials advertising the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" its in recognition of Disneyland's 50th Anniversary. I realized it about 9th grade. I hadn't gone to Disneyland in like 4 years prior to my trip in 9th grade and I loved it since. Oh and I guess I'll post a link to my Disney site hop.to/DCE sorry abou the xmas decorations... I'm more of a fan of the parks than of actual Disney stuff... I guess Mickey is the classic favorite. I love Aladdin, Tarzan and Mulan.

your so lucky! that sounds like a great trip and if you haven't gone already have a great time. i love disney and fairy tales too...my xmas tree is done in a fairy tale theme. my favorite disney folks are peter pan and the jungle book. i sure wish they would rerelease the song of the south.
