Make sure you want to sit there and battle for ages and a day, because it drags on forever. FOREVER!!! I gave up messing with him a long time ago, even though there is an avi for beating him. He is ok to try out different moves and weapons on though.

hey art! long time no see! anyway, i've personally never beaten punchbag bob. here's what i know though. he has 5,000 hp, woohoo that's a ton! and he can't hurt you. However, and I stress however, sometimes punchbag sid sneaks into the battledome in bob's place and he does hurt. so just on the offchance that you get sid, you might want to have a simple weapon, defense and some healing items. also, i didn't know you got an avatar for beating bob, but there's a trophy for it

grrrrr i challenge punching bag bob...only went in with a few snowballs and brain tree splinter. forgot all his hps!!!! i should have used a pet that had abilities but nooooo i thought maybe i could be the avie for using my lupe! but anyway can i quit? if not i guess i will leave this computer on all night and continue the battle tomorrow.

i finally beat him using 4 brain tree splinters, the mighty jubjub sword, and the jubjub helmet of doom, while oreo (the little turd) didn't do anything! course she's still only a level 1 but anything's better than nothing, i also left the fight several times and then came back to it later so that i could other things which is why it took me about 2 hours to beat him

I don't know if I would want to spend hours in the battledome..that's why I haven't tried to beat punchbag bob yet. Maybe I will gather some pretty good weapons and attack someday.  |

well i have a kourga helmet but none of the other battle items for her.i do have the tree splinters. i just figured (after i forgot the hp he had) ah he is easy to beat and i want to start trying...all my guild buddies were sleeping last night so i didn't get to talk to anyone on yahoo...so i thought ok its time...battledome here we come! lol oh well

i actually didn't spend 2 hours in the battledome, i would fight a little then leave the screen to do other things, then come back, it just spent around 2 hours of doing that before i beat him

this is quite simply nothing more than a test of patience, for those of us just starting out in the battledome it's gonna take a while  |

It takes a lot of patience, and it's best if you have good abilites and items, and the only stats that matter are the Strength and Speed. It doesn't really matter now much HP and Defence you have.  |

I know it does take alot of patience! I tried once and it took alot of time and i just stop battling it.
