Finally! I was starting to wonder when it would be back. I know the pound has been down for a while now.

Yes, and I missed my bank interest.

I had sold a bunch of items in my shop, and had sold some stocks and I was getting nervous about having the NPs on hand. So of course, as soon as I upgraded my gallery and bought a bunch of items, the bank comes back! There is something new, now -- I imagine it's because of the recent happenings: Whenever an item is given between two users, the recipient must accept or reject the item at their Item Event Log.
If the item is accepted, it will appear in their inventory, if it is rejected, it will be sent back to the sender.
If the item has not been accepted or rejected within 48 hours of it being sent, it will be returned to the sender.
Please be cautious of who you accept items from. If you do not know the sender and the item is a fairly valuable one, it may be best to simply reject it. I guess this means I can't just dump all my excess omelettes onto BunnyRabt any more.

I'm not sure I like the new 48 hour rule. Maybe if it was longer. I dunno, I just don't like that. I'm not even sure what the benefit of it is.

I don't like it either. What if someone can't be on for a few days, like on a vacation, or sick or whatever? Then if they are sent something, boom, it comes right back to the sender.
I would put this on the "Annoyance List" along with Yooyuball.

Okay, now I'm curious.
I had sent nftysqrt a handful of pack rat things and she didn't accept or reject them within the 48 hour window, so they all came back to my inventory. But I'm wondering ...
What would have happened to the item(s) if there was no room in my inventory? Would we *both* lose the items?

Oh, good question and a valid one. Hmmm....I don't know. That would really stink if you lost your items because tthe person wasn't on in that 48 hour period and your inventory is full.

no actually it would let you have those items in your inventory..but once you get over 50 you can't use the quick stock feature...also if you have items in trade i think they are still temporarily in your inventory til you accept a bid so those items may be accounted for as part of your 50

My head is spinning from thinking about the items just roaming around out there...back and forth....back and forth.....lol
You can remove items from your SDB and actually end up with way more than 50 items in your inventory. That's how I can have ten trades going at once when we do drives. You just pull them out all at once, and your inventory will accept them. That way you can put up ten trades of ten items each. But if someone tries to send things to you and you have 50 or more items in your inventory, it won't accept them.
