I noticed something different on Neopets today. Instead of having the riddle up in the right hand corner, they are now showing "Notable Neopets" in that section. It changes frequently, and they feature a neopet and show it's picture and the owner.
I think it's new...at least this is the first time I've noticed it.

Yeah I noticed that too a few days ago, I thought it was pretty neat....kinda a way to motivate people more to dress up their pets =)

Very very neat feature although I will miss the question in that spot, its still easy to get to though.

i noticed it too...its like as my daughter would consider it them brain washing us into using the dress em up feature....thats her big thing every one is brain washing us

I was kinda thinking along those lines too...that it's just a clever marketing trick to get us to buy neocash. I mean, what if they selected my neopet and it wasn't customized?! *gasp* 
I have to admit, I was pretty disappointed when they first brought out neocash. One of the things that made neopets so great is that it was completely free! And then to have the items expire after 180 days! Oh well. At least neocash isn't that expensive...

I think the Notable Neopet box is an interesting little addition to the front page. Could do w/o it, but it must be great advertising for neoclothing and the get-ups some people dress their pets up in are fun to see.

i agree i loved neopets at first cause it was one place that hadn't gotten money hungry..like pogo they still have free games but now they have the paid membership stuff that if your not a paying member you can't play certain games or have the cool icons/avatars....now they have the premium memberships with neopets..which is bad enough for those of us that are on a budget and want the benefits but just don't want to waste money on this type of thing...rather put it in my kids clothing or those expensive games or taking them to do fun stuff like movies or games or whatever. i just don't spend money on me like that...now if its something for my home yeah....and i might do the neocash...and i would buy the cards every blue moon but they don't even carry the cards in our walmart anymore..not the trading cards...i hope walmart will carry neocash cause we are in a small town and don't have a target. but with neocash its not something i have to pay for each month. but i do feel like a lesser neopian lol because i am not premium...too bad you can't pay for it in neopoints you've earned!

I've never relaly been interested in Premium. I still get the Super wiz though because I participated in the focus group about them.

I was just looking again at some of the things you can buy with neocash...I have to admit, they do look pretty cute on our elephante! I might just break down and buy a card for my baby girl's birthday. Tee-hee!

If you've seen Wicked the musical, the little blue dress they have in the NC mall kinda looks like Glinda's dress and then with Alecksander2002's trident it completes the look as Glinda's staff... I just might consider converting Alexia2002 and buying her that dress.
Oh the possibilities, hehe.

lol don't you pick on me lmao...i for some reason lost all intelligence i had in child birth...i think i passed on the majority of my brains to my oldest....and well after that....the others had to share what was left... either that is what happened or because i have to keep up with 3 kids social, educational deadlines and schedules, soccer schedules, and well thank god i have no life except dr appts now..oh and i have to keep up with all our appts too...its no wonder i remember to wake up each day....lol hate to admit this but when we moved into this house i would come from town and go to the old house and realized when i noticed strange cars...only did it twice lol but thats way too many...i did cut out graesons 4 dance lessons this year and the boys aren't in chorus this year so that has helped! but i have 3 kids in 3 different schools this year too! the joys of single motherhood! doesn't matter still do the same job as when their dad lived here...i just had to keep up with his schedules and appts too
