Yea, I'm so stoked, some of the stuff gets placed there by Neo computers. The background I got was donated by "Jerdana" and I noticed a few other items donated by Neopian characters.

Woohoo! I just snagged a 9700 NP-valued Brown Winter Hat! And when I was checking to find out how much it was worth I found one for 5,000 NP and bought that too! I'm so loving this!!

i've quit trying the donation times are getting too far in between what they were doing. does it seem that way to anyone else?

I have a feeling that more people are aware of it now and so there is lots more competition for the items than there was in the beginning. I've noticed that before you had a few seconds to choose when several decent items came out at once, and now people with T1 lines must be snapping them up the second they appear. I just have DSL, which is fast enough for most everything, but I can't compete with those super fast speeds. And there is just WAYYYY too much dung. If I accidentally click on one of those I just turn around and donate it back.
Sometimes I wonder about their choice of new items. And I am SOOOOO worn out on ugly fish, old shoes, and junk out of the fishing pier.

lol so true...and the few clothing items i got to begin with i turned around and sold some of those...only because i knew the items they were tossing out as "give mes" would decrease in value so get the nps and then later i can go back and buy them when the prices dropped drastically. or that was my thoughts on how it would best suit my needs.....if i got a duplicate i kept one and sold the other. but now and i guess it being free stuff it should be worth my time to wait for items but i am like you bunny i have cable modem and its fast....just not as fast as it should be.....surely can't compete with T1 or T3 computer modems

I'm discouraged by the whole concept of wearables. I've gotten a few things (and even have wearable in my gallery), but neither of my pets have been able to wear anything I've gotten so far. I guess my pets will stay nekkid.

It is discouraging to find something you really like only to find it will only fit a specific pet. I've done that. There is a list of things that will fit everyone, but now I don't remember where I saw it!!! Big help I am, huh? The toys fit all the pets..like the wocky puppet and the pandephant toy.
