I don't know when this opened up but I was reading the Editorial and they were talking about it... www.neopets.com/thriftshoppe/Like the Money Tree but for wearable items. I browsed the news and it wasn't there. I checked Neopia Central, nothing. How were we supposed to know about this?! |

lol good question....but its nice its here...just empty i suppose! i just refreshed and there was a pile of dung in there?!?!?! can you actually wear it if its not thrown at you?  ugggg |

I didn't know about the thrift store either... I'll have to check it out. Of course, with dial-up I'll probably never get anything... that's how it is with the money tree, lol! Maybe someday our neighborhood will get broadband!!!

I know your pain autumn! When I first got on a high speed connection at school that was the first thing I did was go to the Money Tree, lol.

well i was never able to get any thing at the money tree...i think the only time was during xmas when everyone was tossing stuff in there then i picked up a thing or two so lol i quit trying

I can barely say I've gotten 2 things from the Money Tree... It just might be easier to pick something up from the thrift store, though, considering not every Neopian knows about it so it shouldn't be as busy...and the only item seemingly there often is dung. Which not every Neopian wants anyway.  |

The first I heard of the Thrift Store was on the neoboards. I've been able to get a pink hat and a pair of novelty glasses, but that's about it. I'd love to get some type of background!  |

I went for the first time. I got a Pink hat...they go for around 3700 and someone donated one! I got the sack dress, a faerie background, a game room background, and some Groucho Marx glasses!
I finally gave in and changed Ixi to the new artwork. Then I had some fun. I started out being all elegant and I got him a 55,000 np fancy gold collar, but then I couldn't resist and now he's wearing Kreludan Grundo slippers and Heart Shaped Glasses! It's so funny!!!!!! Oh, I also got the meadow background so that's what I put him in. It's a riot. Bixabo is wearing a pumpkin cap in keeping with the season. I have a feeling I could end up spending a lot of nps doing this!!

I had all of them converted except for my Ixi. He looked so sweet in his old pose...but I guess he does look more like a boy now.
 He looks like a flower child at Woodstock. hahaha
