That's weird....I was just at the Battledome to try out my new items. I had over 50 hitpoints before I went to the Battledome, but then when I started my battle I looked and I was back to my original 13 and I hadn't even started yet! I was fighting Harry the mutant moehog, so of course I lost! Does anyone know why that happened (and, more importantly, how to prevent it in the future!)? I know that if you lose the battle, your hitpoints are reduced, but I hadn't even started my battle yet!

That happened automatically and it's not a bug...so you can't really prevent it. Your hp before you entered the battledome looked like 50 / 13, right? The reason your 50 hp reduced down to 13 / 13 is because your pet's hp is actually out of 13 (the denominator of the fraction showing your pet's hit points - the bottom number - is the total possible amount of hp your pet can have to fight with in the battledome.) The top number can be shown as greater than 13 if you use a healing potion on your pet or visit the healing springs and just add hit points to your total count. If you had less than 13 hp total, this would bring you back up to "full power." Since you added even more hp, it seemed as if you could have 50, but when we enter a battle it wouldn't be fair if we could just use all the unneeded hit points we get from the healing springs. So it just reset your pet's hit points to the maximum number when you actually go to fight. Sorry if that was a long and confusing explanation...Do you get it, though? Someone else's two cents might help clarify.

That sucks, I didn't know they implemented that! But then I don't really battle except for wars. You used to be able to go into battles with larger numbers of HP than your pet actually had. Sorry about the loss autumn!

i didn't realize that either....yeah i like the old way when you could get higher hp by visiting the healing springs a few times in advance and building up a higher number....that really bites!!!!!

Hmmm... I wonder if this is a fairly new development? Before when I went to the Battledome it let me keep my extra hp's... Darn!

The last time I battled, which has been a couple of weeks ago at least, Bixabo kept his extra hit points when he started to fight.
But it could be another one of those ridiculous new rules that they have thrust upon us.

isn't it something...now i hate to gripe...well sometimes.....but a game created for kids or atleast i think that was the original thought on it..has turned into so many rules that even us adults are like come on!!!!!! and some i just do not agree with...especially the rules they have put upon guilds about what they can and can't do as far as how they choose to spend their nps....now i do agree guilds shouldn't ask to nps to get promotions....that should only be something someone wants to do for their guild. but i think they should keep it simple as far as rules go...and lol changed should only be postives
