It's kind of like the Lutari Talisman in that the key quest symbol is on everybody's lookup automatically. You can buy merchandise that have codes to redeem tokens and item prizes on Neopets. I believe there are also themes for your Key Quest Collector's Case as prizes. I think there are also games to go along with it..It's sort of mysterious right now.
It isn't officially released until spring. Maybe then they'll make more of a big deal about it.

It's probably yet another way for them to make actual money off of us. Probably not something I'm going to really pursue. I already have more than enough stuffed Neopets. They're cute, but really, where can I put them that doesn't look totally ridiculous? I'm a little past having a shelf over my bed with stuffed animals on it. Art might not appreciate it much either. lol They're relegated to our spare room sitting in a box on my tanning bed. Maybe Graci will like them when she's a little bit older.

i was gonna say there must be something beyond plushies that involves these tokens....keven has 2 on his profile...and i know he hasn't bought any plushies..but with the new line of plushies like the ones they gave away..you had a prize code but nothing to do with token codes...which game is it thats involved with the key quest? and where do you find it?

i asked keven how he got the tokens he had no idea...but i did read where it has to be on a plushie tag...so i guess thats the only way..or a product code...i didn't get a token when i turned mine in ..and when keven went to check his tokens out they disappeared lol

www.jellyneo.net/index.php?go=keyquestIf you go there you can find info. From what I understand it's going to be like the Webkinz game. For example, if you buy a certain stuffed Neopet, you get a code to go to the game and you get to actually play a 3-D game online with that particular style of Neopet. quote: The KeyQuest Codes Neopets will be releasing a whole new line of merchandise that will come with special KeyQuest codes that you can redeem on Neopets. These codes will unlock special tokens that you can use to play in the KeyQuest game. Think of them as the game pieces you use to play and move around the board in Monopoly. You'll be able to keep track of your collection of tokens in the Collector's Case To redeem your KeyQuest codes, check out the Code Redemption page on Neopets. From past press releases about the KeyQuest feature, you'll be able to only get these codes by purchasing Neopets merchandise, or when TNT gives them out on the site during events. The KeyQuest Game The actual KeyQuest game appears to be similar to how Runescape and Webkinz is played. Both allow for in-game chatting among your friends, and thanks to the special ways that you access those games, the world of Neopia will be able to come alive in 3-D form. Here are some concept images below of that the game may be like upon release. The game is set to release this spring, which may be what the special something is for March that TNT hinted at in Editorial 325. To me it looks like it will be absolutely adorable. I mean LOOK at that little Brown Uni!!! I can't wait to see what all this is really about. In one place it says no, it doesn't cost to play. But then the next thing you see is you have to buy something to get a code. If you can buy a Uni and get a code off of it and have a virtual Uni, you can bet I will buy one of those. My nephews and my niece have the little puppies that you can make a virtual world for online, and it is SO cute. Anyway, that's some of what Jellyneo had to say about it all. They have a lot more info on the site and some screenies of what the tokens will look like.

So that's what it is!! Sort of like Webkinz. I hope it doesn't turn into another Webkinz phenomenon..that would be annoying. It looks awesome, though - cool graphics. I want to hear more about it.

It does look very cute. I have a account on webkinz and if it is like that then it shouldn't be to bad.

It does look like fun, but I will have to wait and see if I am going to get involved or not. I don't have too much free time.

I'm going to have to try it again. I got bored with it and just let myself get kicked out of the game. But how is a winner determined? I guess I need to do the tutorial.
Okay...I played it again and got two keys to unlock prizes with. Takes too long though.
