I just started summer school today, I am taking health. it is 16 days(monday through thursday), from 7:30 to 12:15! 5 hours! on top of that, my teacher says that we are going to have to write a five paragraph essay for 14 out of those 16 days, I already have one for homework tongiht. along with the essay we also have to answer anywhere from 100 to 200 test questions eacch night. and each day, we take a 50 problem quiz on the stuff we learned the day before! I think I am going to explode!!!!! I don't think I can write 14 five paragraph essays! I only had to write two my whole freshman year!
man....are any of you taking summer school? are any of your teachers that hard?

Hey! well... i am officially over with high school... graduate baby!!! anyways... my summer is pretty much free of school work! (sorry to make matters worse for ya...) but i think that's a whole lotta stuff to do!!! just try not to stress over it too much.. before you know it, summer school will be over, and you will be sooo amazed that you even got through doing all that nonsense work... it'll make you feel good!!! good luck now, and don't let the work get you down!

ooh... i DO have a story about a teacher i had during the summer after my sophmore year when i did take summer school... so here goes!
i went to a private high school, and for the summer i took chemistry. well we ended up getting this really mean and weird teacher who never taught at our school before, so no one knew who she was. anyways, on the very first day, she told our class that we were ARROGANT! so we were all like, OKAY... anyways! but yeah, and the only way she would teach was by mumbling to herself and scribbling on transparencies... we were just supposed to try and comprehend what she was saying and then try to copy down whatever she was writing on the over head projector... hmm... needless to say, those tests were hella hard...
Oh, and when we would do labs, she would immediately take away 5 points from every group, because she didn't believe that any group could ever get a perfect score... i'm sooo glad that summer is over...
but despite all the stuff we had to go through, i got through the class with a B, which isn't bad, considering that most people had to take it again during the regular school year!

hey all, I don't know how much I am going to be able to be on, I am trying my hardest just to read through the posts each day.
I am only on my thrid day of summer school, but the stress is so high. I guess it isn't this way for all people, but since I really put time and effort into my essays, I am running myself ragged.
I am spending at least 5 hours on hw a day, and then I go to bed. I am so tired out already I don't know how much time I will have for other things, that includes neopets, i am sorry, I won't be on much

i have summer school from 730 to 1200. i take math and music. it is so boring
