Magic Cloud of the Month: August

Neopets completely ignores March 3rd. March 3rd on Neopets does not exist because of some kind of change to the servers they did a few years ago.

It is funny coincidence that due to computer problems in August 2005 and the fact that the guild was transitioning to these boards in August 2004 that there was no Member of the Month for August. This month, however, there is (thankfully) nothing preventing a selection.

HOWEVER, in much the same way Neopets ignores March 3rd, the Guild Guardian Faeries have decided to ignore the month of August for Member of the Month selection. A guild tradition we intend to keep! Who knows, maybe there is some kind of terrible jinx or evil faerie spell that may fall upon the guild if one is chosen for August!

Ooooh!!! Sounds like a guild plot to me!!! But that is kind of sad. I was looking forward to see who won when i saw this thread.

How do we get to the conference room?

I would imagine they are having a tough time deciding because we have so many outstanding members to choose from! (and then there could be other reasons...who knows?)

Maybe there is just so much going on in August that the guardians needed one less thing to worry about? Or maybe it really is just a myth..or perhaps an evil happening? Hmm...so many choices.

I thought the same thing after I typed that out. Sorry, though. No plot Just letting you guys know that the Guardians are wary to tempt fate especially after seeing all the stuff done in Altador by the Darkest Faerie!

As for the Conference Room. It IS, in fact, in the guild castle but the Guardians keep its location quite secret! Although, if you find it, you can certainly enter. Unless, of course, they are having a meeting!

To find the Conference Room, do you need to guess the URL or is it clickable somewhere?

No, it's definetly clickable. There are no rooms that are only accessible by guessing a link.

Think about secret passages in movies and you might find your way to the Conference Room. It and the passage to the Bailey have been around for ages as well as several other passages and secret rooms!

Ok so this so called conference is no where to be found in the castle. I found the enterance to the Bailey and have searched high and low for the conference room... and cannot find it.
Although I did find an abyss in the library...

You can get to the Bailey through the Hall of Portraits. Anybody knows that.

I found it I found it I found it!!!! I had to look through half the Guild General boards for more hints, but I found the Conference Room. Hehehehehe
