sorry to post a new thread but I couldn't find one that was dedicated to drive ideas (or I searched wrong for it)
either way, I thought of a couple of things that are cheap and you could get several variations of them without spending a fortune
1. keyrings - they all look similar so even if you had green usul or fire wocky it wouldn't look bad when donated to the tree
2. sand sculptures - like the heart shaped is really cheap (i thought it would be for this year's february giveaway but i like the loveberry idea too) but like some of the reject ones or just any of them in general, cuz they'd all look alright together
what do y'all think?

I like the idea of the key rings. They're useful, even though some are pretty cheap, because they can be used to play with a pet. In the future, we could also try some cheap grooming items, they can also be used to keep a pet happy. Some other really cheap items are Pretty Bouquets and Balloons. One time I actually donated a bunch of those to the money tree and someone neomailed me and asked if I had any more and mentioned that they make good gifts.

i like the keyring one as well..another good and cheaper one we did was the tin can drive....it was very easy to buy cheap and lots of them and not kill our bank accounts..you figure if your spending 100 per loveberry or heart sand your spending 1000nps if you buy 10 of those to give away...like the plushies i have found cost around that as well but a tad cheaper....but jelly drive was cheap and good...i don't mind doing any of them but it sure makes it easier to do the cheaper they are...the fish would be a great one too...that is what i feed my pets now that all the freebie places are basically gone...

I prefer our drives to be of items that have some sort of utility on the site. The keychain idea is a good one but in general I prefer it be items people can use or EAT.
I think another canned food drive would be good those are usually pretty cheap, especially from Tombola.

I thought that keyrings could be played with, as a toy.
But I know we usually do some type of food item.

Aren't keychains "Gifts?"

ok, i'm sorry, i got a little confused: a keychain like the jub zambra and the cobrall charmers keychain that I got from the concert is a gift... but a keyring... like the green wocky keyring is a toy

Yes, you can play with your pets with them. I remember when I first started with Neopets I used them to keep my pets happy when I was poor. Now they spend a LOT of time playing at the Neolodge, so I don't use the keyrings now.

i think as far as foods..the fish are great because they are pretty and also...they feed pets and cheap we could do a massive fish drive..yeah the cans are great too cause i can find lots at a np and there again it feeds my pets...which i have been so forgetful about doing that since i have been sick and much rather buy cheap stuff for them to eat cause i rather my nps go to my neohome than eatting lol...
