So I've been moving along brainstorming on how to spruce up our guild website and I've aleady got the top navigation banner mostly all planned out! For our staff and council, here's a preview of that top banner:  (Image is automatically scaled down, you can click it to view the full size version) What's really cool about this is that if you refresh the page every 15 seconds on the re-designed site you'll get a different guardian on the left of the banner! Don't refresh right now though, it won't do that because this is just a preview of how it will look. At any rate, I think it's gonna look really neat when you're browsing the guild site and a different guardian pops up in the corner. Also, the castle in the corner will be clickable and will take you straight to the castle Foyer! Everything else will probably look the same content wise but I will be making a new line break graphic so that instead of just regular yellow lines, there will be a nifty silver rod-iron/swirl line break. On the sidebar, I'm going to reorganize it a bit and make the bullets little Alexia crowns.  Please let me know what you think and please share ideas and suggestions! |

I liike it a lot, dl. I especially like the feature of the changing guardian when you refresh.

You can view the progress of the new layout here: jinigo1.bol.ucla.edu/guild/These color schemes are not final. As of yet, the only thing in (mostly) finalized form is the top banner. Even the sidebar is just a placeholder at the moment (it's the current sidebar on the guild website.) Anyway, if you refresh the page every few seconds you'll see the guardian on the left change! |

Ooops, I moved this thread back to guild general but didn't talk about anything. I haven't had time to make much changes the past few days but if you visit the preview page right now you'll see it taking a bit more shape. If you visit the preview link jinigo1.bol.ucla.edu/guild/ you'll see the general layout and the guardian image on the top left corner changing every 15 seconds if you refresh the page! I've also added a checkered background (I'm not completely loving it, let me know what you think) and I've also reorganized the sidebar. Please let me know what you think about that, too. Oh speaking of which, the "HTML for you page" will be renamed "Guild Graphics." I'm also thinking of making a new category under "Member Resources" called "Neopets Help" and below that will be the link to NeopetsMadeEasy.com I'm still thinking of ideas on how to arrange the actual content but I am progressing. Speaking of content, I'm going to be redoing the Guardian Faeries page. Instead of those individual buttons on the page I'm going to make a spiffy image of all the guardians somewhere in the castle (I'm thinking the Rose Garden) and then each guardian in that image will be clickable and will take you to their individual pages (which will also be re-done) I'm also going to change the Support page so that it still links to the donation shops but also move the Members of the Month to this page. Nftysqrt pointed that out to me and I think it would make tons more sense there than on the Activities page. Again, please post all your ideas and comments. |

I like it but am not loving it. I think it's the right color, though.

Alright I'm progressing along with general content layout for the pages (I also added snazzy gold border along the page that I think is nice) and I have updated the sidebar.
