Hey everyone! I just wanted to say that I love all the guild stuff for Neopets shops. I just added two to my shop. If you want to see, it's called Taelia's Treasures, owned by autumn_child. By the way, I'm not trying to promote my shop by any means (honest!!!). I just was excited by how well the guild things went with my current shop theme, and I think it looks pretty cool.  |

i don't even remotely know how to do shop backgrounds anymore since they changed that stuff about backgrounds from outside sources...and never could get a background for my gallery to work...thats pretty sad when neopets a child friendly site is to high tech for a 40 year old woman..ok a couple years older than just 40 but still u know what i am saying!

Well....I could probably figure it out but I don't wanna. I spent all that time fixing my shop and my gallery the way I wanted it, and then they went and messed with it, so some things don't work and I can't change them. Basically if I change anything at all it will void the entire code, so I haven't changed a thing in over a year. Like I don't have anything else to do but fiddle around with stuff they keep changing.
Do I sound a little bit CRANKY here? That's how I feel about the whole change to their little regulations.

I can't even begin to imagine what a nightmare reworking all of that stuff would be. I'm sure they have their technical reasons and all that, but darnit...before they changed things I had finally gotten to where I was pretty good at doing that stuff, and I just don't want to have to learn it all over again. Heck, I'm doing good to be on the boards as much as I am and maybe play a couple of games, let alone redo my shop and gallery.

well i agree the one nice thing is its cut down on the hackers....by bringing in background codes that had cookie steelers embedded in them...cause i darn sure would DIE if i got hacked on neopets...i admire those that have lost everything and still have the patience to start all over. i get below 3 millon nps now i feel like i need restraints from shopping which i am so below right now....but i do miss the shopping for backgrounds and fixing up my shop..i never could figure out how to do the gallery backgrounds...oh well when someone figures it out let us know
