Just wondering dl, what's going to happen with our member status? Are you going to give anyone with board powers in the guild, them here to, and if you'r light breeze, is that one star, magic cloud five, or how are you doing it?

rankings here in the MBs don't mean anything for the guild. In the message boards they are for number of messages.
Once people start getting used to these boards I'll create mods (moderators)

yea, I was wondering the same thing, we had those in my last forum, but magically, I seemed to foret what they did, besides moderated the tradffic of the message board so things didn't get too cluttered

alright, so the member thing goes up with posts, I just found that out, but did you know that when a post is deleted, it takes one of your posts off, so you'd go back down to a new member? I think that's dumb, that would keep everyone at junior member for a LONG time!

alright, so what I judged earlier, the new member thing goes up by how many posts we have? I don't get it! Ahhh, so you don't decide that? Right. Ignore the rankings on these message boards, they mark the number of messages. I can't figure out how to get rid of them. |

I notice kris is a mod, so what are they? Well I was on aol instant messenger when the night dl made the boards, and I helped him test them out a little bit, so I guess he decided that I should be. Oh also probably because I regularly deleted spam on the old guild message board, and so he thought that I'd probably do the same thing here? (Which I will.) But to know all the reasons ask dl.  |

hey, mcalnan is right, it takes your posts off of you total count when they are deleted, that really sucks

I believe dl said that we don't.......he said that our rank goes up with our posts, and we can already delete our own messages

So as far as posts go we're pretty much starting over? So what does this actually do to our member listing? I know dl is in charge of who advances in rank, but our old numbers (posts) are kind of meaningless now? Oh well, I guess it's not that big a deal. |
