So as far as posts go we're pretty much starting over? So what does this actually do to our member listing? I know dl is in charge of who advances in rank, but our old numbers (posts) are kind of meaningless now? Oh well, I guess it's not that big a deal.  The number of posts always was meaningless. Though if it makes you feel better you can add the old posts to this count:) |

Why would you want to do that? Besides making you look like you're a little more experienced to the new people, the number of posts doesn't really mean anything, except it's used to help determine winners for random giveaways by some members.

The number of posts you have does show how active you are in the guild. I thought that was one of the guidelines that determines rank, among other things of course.

well, i knew it could determine if you were active, but i didn't think it determined when your rank increased, i'm still a little fuzzy about all of that.

I thought that was one of the guidelines that determines rank, among other things of course. not by how many posts you have, but by how many "useful" posts you have. If someone just spammed up the board, that wouldn't be fair so that's how we work it! |

chnzluv.. Yeah.. my dad talk in some foruns like this and i can see that our rank increases with the number of posts.. At least here i can put any avvie.. But many things will be different from the other one.

yea, like it makes it harder for me to choose a random giveaway person, sice i almost nevver know who posted last(except that it tells me at the bottom of th ehome page, but it is still awkward)

I know just what you mean bunny! I've been sick for 3 weeks myself, well not sick exactly, but in pain, and for about a week i was pretty doped up! I'm still making my hubby do the cooking though!!!  |

alright, so the member thing goes up with posts, I just found that out, but did you know that when a post is deleted, it takes one of your posts off, so you'd go back down to a new member? I think that's dumb, that would keep everyone at junior member for a LONG time!
Also, I joined these boards just today, so it looks like Im a guild newbie lol. |

I don't like the fact that when you reach a certain number of messages ( I would guess over 500, cuz it says that below Felicia_luv_tv's name and she has 500 and something messages) it says God below the persons name instead of junior member, full member, senior member. I'm a Christian, and this...well offends me. It might not seem like a big deal, but it is to me. Dl and I are trying to figure out a way to contact proboards about it.
