I think that it's going to take some getting used to, but that we should, as you have done if you're on here, at least try it out without prejudging how the experience is going to be. I actually think that it's going to help us all out, especially when neomail is acting up and you can't send anything out, you can always just send a private post on here for if you're wanting anything from a discount shop, etc.

that is true lindsey, it will take some getting use to, I think it will probably confusing at first for some people, but dl also is working hard to make things better

I'm not sure I understand the need for a separate board. Is it because the other board has Neopets guidelines that won't allow all this other stuff?

I think it makes it more organized, if someone is just coming to the board for quest help they don't have to scroll through other messages they don't need to see to get to their answer and the like

I really like this board. I think dl made it partly so it would free up the official neopets guild message board. Since we are getting so many new active members sometimes it's hard to keep up. Not that new active members are a bad thing. Not at all!

I agree kris. I think this will be so much better. I keep getting neopets is down for maintenance or my neomail isn't working right. We won't have that problem here. Also, we get our active members to sign up on here and we can keep better track of it all. We've got plenty of spam monitors to take care of specific areas here, and we've got everything all rolled into one.

I agree! I think this board is better, you've got everything all at one spot! Neomail messes up all the time and you can't neomail someone about something you want from their discount shop, ect. With this you can just send a privat message

[glow=black,2,300] I've been on boards like these before, so it's not really all that confusing, to me at least. It does help with all out organization, but it is going to be easy for certain posts to be overlooked...and i'm sure there will still be posts ending up in the wrong ones from confusion on topics. The only real problem i can think of though is that eventually this will cause the neopets guild board to go dead, and the new members will end up with no one on it to welcome them and tell them to come here. Unless of course you have someone relay posting on a regular basis, so that there is always a post at the top of the other board to tell the new members to come here. [/glow]

That's a good point, i think what we could do is have some of the welcomers, like me, lindseycron0, and bunnyrabt post our welcome message on the board like we always do and tell them about this message forum.

I was kindof worried about that myself. As to the regular neoboards, I never used them anyway. I always just used the guild message board. DL may just have to create some new jobs for certain things......hehehe. I think the same thing about having so many different ones. I don't think we should be able to create so many different things, like in the guild faeries part you could end up with a specific one for each of the guardians and I think that that's just way too much. Anyway, we were never properly introduced druid. I'm lindsey, started 5-21 of this year. Nice to meet you!

I am looking for quest help. I post under the quest help page. The quest needs to be done in 1 hour. 5 people are on the boards, but don't check the quest help, because they don't think of it! On the old system, my quest gets completed, on this system, it won't.

someone could just post a message on the top of the board everymorning/afternoon/night telling the newbies how to get here

but if you come into a guild, and you don't know much about guilds, you see one with 700 posts, the other with 37, what are you going to chose?

first of all, everyone in this guild is important, and a valued part of our "family"!

One more thing, is that it's going to be hard to read all of the messages, because we'll have to jump back and forth between subjects, and it's hard to have a convo, in 5 different subjects at once!

yes, this wouldn't be bad if ther was only one or two subjects, but then isn't that just like the message board I ask?

Just an idea, but I think it could work. Why not just use the new boards dl has created, for stuff like avatar talk, general talk, and talk about guild plots. It would keep it simple, and only people who wanted to talk about that stuff, would have to talk about it, the rest could just talk on the board like normal!

not THAT simple.....lol, but simpler than it is now especially when someone keeps adding more and more discussions when most people aren't even on here yet.....hehehe
