hey mc, what made you change your mind, just out of curiosity? I mean, welcomers are still using the old boards to post for new members and stuff, and we're still using neomail for their first welcome letters. Have you used the private messages yet? They're great and highly recommended by me, at least, if you haven't used them yet. LOL! this is great!

I find myself spending more time here going through all the new posts than I did just reading back through the old board. I'm wondering if this might not pull us away from the actual game a bit. For instance, if you usually play games for nps, and you spend your time over here on this board, chatting, it's not quite neopets anymore. It has it's good features; the quote function is quite nice, and the private message system is good. But it's still time consuming to go all over the different subjects and try to keep up. I can't imagine how that must be for someone with a slow computer. It's kinda nice to hear things like where people are from, stuff like that. But..again...it takes away from the actual game a bit. |

but I think it is more that since all the conversations are in so many different places, it is hard for all of us to keep up with all the threads unless we are on almost all day. I know I have already given up on some threads just because there are soooooo many posts, and I lost track of what everyone was talking about

And I think the activity on the new board is really great...everyone is doing their best to get aclimated. But there is a lot to keep up with in different places. Some days I have more time than others..but I usually can get caught up sooner or later. |

Same here. Some days I know that I don't have enough time to go through all the different threads so those days I usually don't get on. I know that I don't have to go through all the different threads, but I get on here see them and want to.

I liked the old board better because its so simple and easy, but this one is more organized and seems like more of a chatroom which seems more fun to me. |
