well i hate to admit it but they are so much alike which is why i love neopets. we use to have a pokemon battle league in my town were every sat. people of all ages gathered at the local music shop...i can't remember the name of the place but it was sold out along with the pokemon league. so we would go and card battle. i even did it and each of my sons had a deck...it was great fun. i love pokemon. when i was posting about the new avie and the battles you had to do all i could think of was how that part of neopets reminded me of pokemon. but i am sure even if they merge it won't change things and if so not much. i do like the characters like the charizard and goldy looks like goldeen. lots of similarities.
