I am in the middle of trying to finish these quest looking for the honey potion and thought in case others might attempt this feat, i would let them know what they have to look forward to as far as quest items types. i am now up to level 18 and got my first expensive request. i had to buy a spardel. if you are also doing this quest please post your requested items. up til now i haven't had to spend above 2000 nps. this one i found cheap for right at 13000 nps.

the prizes you get at what level.
for completeing level 1...you receive Illusens cream cookies
then you have to get to level 3 to get Illusen's potion
level 5- illusens comb
level 8- cucumber eye cream
level 11- Illusens Novel
level 14- Mud Mixture
level 17- Flower Cake
level 20- Rain Water Shampoo
Level 20 you also get the avie!!!!
Level 23- Rose Shake
Level 26- Earth Spell Book
Level 29 Leaf Shield- Which is a good resell item
Level 32- Illusens Earth Potion - which is good for battle items
Level 35- HONEY POTION- this is a big unbuyable!!!! sells for about 700, 000 nps.
Level 38- Illusens Scroll
Level 41- Illusens Blade
Level 44- Leaf Taco
Level 47 - Illusens Orb Plant
Level 50- Illusens Staff.

Eh...I just went as far as I needed to to get the Illusen avatar. Her items started getting pretty expensive after that, so I stopped.  lol But good luck, fairy, if you're trying to reach a really high level!! |

level 19 they wanted Krakuberry Mince Pie....which was only around 4000nps..whew!!!!

for level 20 i had to get Eitchtwoo Melon....it cost 999nps and i got the avie and rain water shampoo....

I've never really tried for these...I probably should I guess...I'm just scared she'll ask me to get her something that is WAAAAY expensive! lol eventually she will ask for an unbuyable just hope its not too soon!!!! and not sure how many she will eventually ask for but i am keeping this as a journal and hopefully mdith will add to it to with her experiences. |

Okay..you talked me into it, fairy! lol. I went to check it out and wow...I'm on level 2! lol. Well...just finished level 3 now. I bought a vegetable deluxe for 1,000. And got the Illusen's Potion.

just did quest 22 and had to buy Kau Faerie Tales... it was only 5800nps...i just keep my fingers crossed that if i get an unbuyable any time soon i will find someone who will sell it too me in time!

But if you do, you can console with this story about my terrible experience with Illusen's quest: One time when I was trying for the avie, I had gotten to, I think, level 13 and went to get the item when, lo and behold, Neopets goes down for maintenance! That's probably one of the worst times you want Neopets to go down.  Naturally I lost my quest because by the time the darned site started working again the time limit was over. I had to start over at level 1, but I did get the avie eventually. After that frustrating event. lol |

I just finished trying to get the elusive honey potion for the second time. The first time I tried was some time last year and I got to level 34 and accepted the quest for level 35 and she asked me for some UB battledome item which was more expensive than the honey potion itself!
About a week ago I failed again, this time at level 33. She asked for an UB item that was a little over 100K, but there were only 2-3 of them on the TP and no one responded in time. So I'm off Illusen for awhile...she just gets me angry, haha!
I got a 80K item in the high level 20s, but I would be surprised if you didn't get an UB before level 35. I think most of the game has to do with the luck of the draw. You could get to level 35 and only have to buy a book worth 1K or something. Or you could get to level 20 and have to buy something between 50K and 100K!
I hope you guys have better luck than me on this one! Maybe I'll try it again after I've recovered from my last attempt!

oh i pray i get lucky and i am trying now not to do the quest til after 3ish to 5ish but might wait to do them between 7-9pm so i have a chance of the person when i get an unbuyable to be online home from school or work so i will have a better chance in getting the item i am looking for. but not sure when i will get that unbuyable i know i will...but hope i get lucky and avoid it!

*breathes a sigh of relief* i am stressing now the higher i get in levels about what i will have to find and buy....today i get lucky again and have to buy Banana and Chocolate Rock Slices... which only cost me 350nps!!! whewwwwww.
i received a rose shake for completeing level 23.

I had them all open before I accepted the next quest. I always was worried about running out of time, so that helped me.

I always was worried about running out of time, so that helped me. lol i do the same thing!!!! i wish they gave you 24 hours...especially with the unbuyable items!!!! but then again i guess that would make the items too common that you win. holy smokes i breezed by once again..i normally like to wait til later but today is my busy day after school...but i had to buy Blue Feather Toy which i found for right under 2000nps! please luck stay with me!!!!! that was level 24 |
