Some games renamed

I just noticed yesterday that TNT renamed a couple of games.

1. Whack-A-Staff-Member is now TNT Staff Basher
2. Whack-A-Ghost is now Ghost Bopper
3. Whack-A-Kass is now Kass Basher

these names have already been updated in the games room and also in your game scores list, but the actual games themselves after loading still reflect the old names

running a search for "whack" in the games search only brings up Ghost Bopper and Kass Basher, but searching for "staff" brings up TNT Staff Basher.

Just thought I'd bring it to everyone's attention in case you start hunting for one of these

Also note that the avatar name for the Whack-A-Kass avatar is still named the same

Very interesting... The creators of Whack-a-Mole probably trademarked the "Whack-a" ::shrugs::

I was just about to come over here and mention that after seeing that Whack-A-Kass is now Kass Basher...Weird..

I think you're right, Dl. Why else would they change names that are, in some cases, years old?

hmmm i also noticed that they're calling Math's Nightmare a new game on the main page banner, I wonder why?

that's cuz the original maths nightmare has been replaced with a new version of it... so now you'll have 2 scores for that particular game

glad i read this and your right dl let them get a taste of rule regulation medicine! but look how many years they used it illegally cause the whack a mole game has been around for years!

Looks like my guess was right... From the Editorial of the NT:

Lawyerbot's programming was updated and he learned there might be some "whack-a" games that existed prior to our Neopian games, so we renamed them. (He tends to be touchy about those things.)
