yep i've read 'Piercing the Darkness' and the book in the series that came before that 'This Present Darkenss'.. both were really good (and spooky!)
hehe ^__~
i *was* re-reading thru the Xanth series by Piers Anthony, and got up to the middle of 'Vale of the Vole' - the 10th book in the series, but its getting a little old, and each book seems the same after awhile heh - the adventures have a problem, they go to the good magician for an answer to the problem, get some garbbled mysterious information, embark on a magic quest, get into all kinds of trouble, and somehow stumble thru to the end where they actually save the day.. so, i'm looking for something else to read at the moment..

I LOVE reading, it is prolly my fav thing to do, which is also prolly why my vision is so bad. If I an not reading a book, I am often reading a fanfiction. My fav sereis is the Anita Blake Vampire HUnter series by Laurell K. Hamilton, I have read every book in the series at least twice and most 3 or 4 times, 5 times in the case of the 3rd book. My favorite type of books are vampire books, any books with vampires I like, I have two book shelves full of books, and one of them is devoted purely to supernatural books, most of those are vampire books. I also like Janet Evanovich, I would suggest it for any of you adult women out there, especially you Kris, it is absolutly hilarious, and she is my favorite non-supernatural writer, I just adore her books. You should really try them, at least try the first one, it is really good. there are 10 of them out right now in the series. if you want to know mroe about it, just PM me

Peretti huh? I've never heard of him. Is he new? What genre does he write? He's a christian writer, and the books of his mentioned are about the fight between angels and demons. It's really cool, but also spooky. Don't read them right before you go to bed.

Hey, this is agood idea -sometimes I don't know what to read next, and I love people recoomending books to me. Has anyone read "Birdsong" by Sebastien Faulks? Now that is a moving book. Or "lolita", by a guy who's name I can't spell. It's kinda disturbing, but is really a masterpiece. Oh - and has anyone read the earth children series, by jean auel? There we are, see, I got carried away!

Thanks for the book suggestions kalilza and ginny. I'll have to see if I can find books by the authors you recommended. (Well first i have to find the library, lol. Actually i printed out direction from mapquest to the local library in my area and I walked to where it said it was supposed to be and it wasn't there soooo I'm trying to figure out where it is.) I really like science fiction and fantasy books, and I'll read the occasional romance novel.

i havent heard of any of those books but if your into history novels that are retold by young girls... kinda like dear america but this might be a little more advanced [for teenagers] but im sure any of you guys can handle it. since you guys love to read... im not that big of a fan of reading, you should read Ann Rinaldi, A Break with Charity. She is a great author.
