you can put any pet in the pound as long as they're over 7 days old... a lutari will go back to lutari island so you can't adopt them at all and you can't adopt a painted pet if your personal account isn't 2 months old, otherwise, yeah, they can be pounded

its 45 days old at level 4 the message says:

ERROR : Sorry, but you must unattach the Betatest or No Trade or No Sell item attached to your Neopet before disowning it.

you must have a cardboard petpet on it or something like that, once you remove all items and petpets, you should then be able to
