This is a bit long-winded but we appreciate you taking the time to read it! It was sent out in PM but in case you did not receive the message it was as follows:
We hope everyone is doing well. In our aim to make our guild the most interesting and entertaining to everybody we constantly try to come up with new ideas to get our members actively involved with eachother here in the guild.
It has been discussed amongst some members that one way to get activity booming here in the guild is by having more members post more frequently. I think that as we stress in the rules not to post for the sake of posting (spamming) that members become afraid to post thoughts, ideas, opinions etc. While we like to keep order here in our guild we do not try to stifle creativity and opinions.
With this guild-wide message we'd like to invite everyone to actively post on the boards and not hesitate in posting ideas with the fear of "getting in trouble" for posting a thread. This should be the last thing on one's mind, so to speak. It is quite simple for us to lock, move, modify, and/or delete threads if necessary so please do not think twice about posting something that you think someone else might enjoy or also want to post about!
Our guild has a wide and varied group-base and you are bound to find someone who shares similar interests as you if you take the time to post and get familliar with our members. Granted it is impossible for everyone in the guild to get to know every member in the community on a personal basis but we feel that opening up the guild a bit more so that members feel more free to interact with eachother will serve the guild well!
In essence, we invite everyone to post without fear of doing something wrong. We have plenty of moderators who are always on the boards ready to fix any mistakes. It has never been and never will be our policy to scold members for accidently breaking the rules, so should you accidently make a mistake, fear not as you will not be punished or banished! Pencils have erasers and our moderators have modifying powers, so do not fear making mistakes, everyone is bound to make them!
