As a neopets and guild newbie, I thought the Picnic Theme week was terrific! It was a good way for me to see some of the items I hadn't run across yet. It was also fun to see some of the ways members could interact with one another.
So ... here are two theme suggestions. I don't know if they are appealing, or really how they could be implemented, but I'll toss the topics out there to get reactions and additional suggestions for themes!
"Back to School" (faerie potion lessons, anyone?)
"Harvest/Thanksgiving"

Those are great suggestions... we normally do do theme weeks or at the very least theme days for federal holidays. |

i love the back to school theme! there's a lot you could put together prize wise for it.......
we could also do like a newspaper theme, summer nights, fun under the sun (or sea or both lol).....i'll keep thinking!

Good ideas! I like the summer nights.
August 11-12 is the big Perseid meteor shower. (Look towards the northeast sky after dark.) There's a new moon then, so it will be very dark. About midnight, if you can go outside, experts say you can see about 200 METEORS AN HOUR! That's one about every 18 seconds!
So ... how about a Starry Summer Nights theme?

I think our next one will be Back to Neoschool though I'm not sure yet. Depends on the developments of Neoschools within the next few weeks...
