Alexia is hanging up her crown for the night and is about to go to bed when all of sudden a flying pirate ship crash-lands near the guild castle. She runs to warn the others but then...

She runs to warn the others but then Capn Threelegs appears ominously in the doorway of her room, blocking her way with an evil smirk. She hadn’t expected any of the pirates to be able to penetrate the castle guards, and she was quite taken aback, and just a bit frightened. Immediately she sent a telepathic message to the other guardians, and they quickly appeared in the hallway in a cloud of faerie dust. The guardians encircled the crusty old pirate, and began to chant in unison. Capn Threelegs threw up his hands and said “Whoa, mateys!!! We be here only to bring food, drink, and the music of our fiddler, McGee, so that we might party with ya!” The guardians looked him over suspiciously, because as you know, pirates have been known to tell a yarn or two. After careful consideration, they decided unanimously to grant him the reprieve of not being vanquished. Smiling, Alexia slipped her hand into Capn Threeleg’s bended arm, and together they ascended the long castle stairway, followed by all of the guardians, whose clothing had miraculously morphed (as usual) into the most beautiful party gowns, surpassed only by the one that Alexia had whisked on with a wave of her hand.
When they walked into the castle ballroom, they saw that all the pirates had also entered, and had begun to set up the party. Such wondrous food and drink was laid out on the long table! It was hard to imagine that the rugged wayfarers had put together such a lovely spread, but it would seem that they did! McGee was tuning up his fiddle with a gleam in his eye, and as the pirates began clapping and stamping their feet, he began to play a lively tune. Each of the guardians picked out their favorite pirate, and everyone began dancing.
Just as everyone thought they couldn’t have a better time, the door opened slowly, and a lovely faerie uni peeked around the corner. Alexia motioned to him to enter, and he pushed open the door and lo and behold, behind him were all the pets from the kingdom, groomed and adorned with all sorts of jewels and bedazzlements! All in the ballroom were amazed at the finery and the beauty of the pets, and immediately broke into riotous applause! The pets began to dance, and all joined in.
Altogether it was a wondrous night that had begun with a rather startling, and somewhat scary, flying pirate ship crash. It just goes to show that sometimes things are not what they seem!

...she is grabbed from behind and lifted into the air! Twisting her head around she sees two pirate schorchios holding her by the back of her dress. They land in front of the ship. A large pirate Krawk with a pawkeet sitting on his shoulder are surveying the large hole in the ship made by the crash landing.
"We got her, cap'n!" shouts one of the scorchios.
Alexia shouts, "What is the meaning of this?"
"We're going to hold you here, and demand ransom money from your fairy friends," says the captain.
"Oh no you're not!" cries Alexia taking out her wand.
The pirates cower, sheilding their faces with their hands. "No...don't please," says the captain. "We only wanted a bit of fun...we're pirates, we kidnap people. It's our job. If you're sure you don't want to be kidnapped, we'll go, but can I ask you to reconsider? Pleeeeaaase?"
"Absolutely not," says Alexia.
"Well then, can we raid your castle? How about just the west wing?"
"NO."
"Well, can you just fix out boat then?"
Alexia rolls her eyes, sighs, and fixes the ship with a wave of her wand.
So it was a happy, if rather anticlimactic, ending.

the pirate captain sensed what Alexia was about to do and disappeared in a puff of smoke. He reappeared in Alexia's room and placed his bony hand over Alexia's mouth before she could scream. "Ye won' be tellin' anyone what we be doin' here tonite lass," he said smiling devliishly showing off his gold teeth. His one good eye glinted as he caught sight of Alexia's crown. He raised his free arm and called to the crown. The crown floated towards him til it landed in his weathered out stretched hand. He and Alexia disappeared in cloud of yellow swirling smoke and reappeared on his battered pirate ship. He turned toward his crew and said "We be goin' now. I have what I came for. A lovely little trinket," he said holding up Alexia's crown "and me new bride." Alexia's eyes widened in fear and the crew shouted in trimuph. Alexia couldn't understand why she couldn't just fly away, why weren't her powers working? The captain put his hand into the pochet of his worn velvet jacket and pulled out a beautiful rainbow gem. Alexia paled. "Aye, ye be knowin' what this be, don' cha lass?" His lips curled. "When I heard of ye beauty Alexia, I knew I had to have ye as me wife. So I searched high and low fer this gem that would cancel out ye faerie p'wrs so ye'd be mine forever." Alexia's body shuddered. All of a sudden Alexia2002, the faerie shoyru, flew out of the castle and snatched the gem from the pirate captain's hand. She then threw it at the ground where it shattered into a 1000 pieces. "Nooooooo!" the pirate captain yelled. "Well I guess you'll be going now," Alexia said coyly. She snapped her fingers three times and the captain, his crew, and the ship disappeared. Alexia2002 picked up Alexia's crown and dropped it into her hand. Alexia gave her a hug. "What a night this has been!" Alexia exclaimed. "Race you to the castle!" Alexia said smiling. And off they both flew towards the castle.

All of a sudden there beside her stood a ghost pirate. How??? Oh...the wonders of walking through walls. Harr...ye got any grub??" was what he asked. "Well, the least you can say is Hello and Im sorry I crashed on your faerie tennis court". "Aye...Well, sorry ye am not". "What do you mean??Why are you soo upset?" "Well, if it weren't for ye Blaggard faeries, me Pirates would get a week filled with Neopet spirit but then ye have Faerie Day!! Well me and me hands are gonna sink ye and ye Faeries to the bottom of Davy Jones' Locker. That'll teach every one of ye to celebrate and drink grogs for many a days more!!!" "But we faeries, have nothing to do with this!Its been like this for years and years of Neopian tradition! Complain to The Neopets Team!!" "No Quarter!! Me hearties, they aint going to be Sail Ho! They want faeries no more. Me, me just your average happy-go-lucky pirate. If it was up to me, I would marry me long lost faerie love, Belinda." Alexia, seeing that this Pirate wasnt as bad as he seemed, got an idea. " What if we could negotiate, and Faerie and Pirate day could be celebrate that one day all together?" "Wait ye Faeries are willing to do that?? Yo-ho-ho, well why didn't ye blubber that. I guess me could do that. And hey, ye Faeries and me Pirates could combine prizes like money and dubloons and Grogs and Milkshakes!!!" "Yea, I don't know about that last idea but sure!" "Well then, me hearties and me are off to ward off the Maraquan Armies. Thanks, lassie, Fair Winds!" Alexia smiled. She could sleep, and of course she knew that Maraqua has been deserted for a long time and Poogle day is in between the days, but what the Pirates don't know won't hurt them!

She notices the castle is very quiet. Alexia gets frightened. After glancing into all the faeries' bedrooms, Alexia realizes that everyone is asleep. She turns to walk back to her bedroom thinking it must have been a nightmare, but screams as she comes face to face with a Pirate Krawk. Going somewhere? He snarls. Alexia steps back. H-how can this be? You're only a nightmare! She says frantically. I'm not a-afraid of some crazy illusion in my head! Alexia tries to walk past the Krawk, but he raises his arms and blocks her. You are coming with me. Alexia is breathing hard. For years I have been serving Dr. Sloth. He has said numerous times that he yearns to capture one of the Silver Lined Clouds II guild faerie guardians, for he knows you all have incredible powers that can help him conquer Neopia. This will be my greatest accomplishment. He will be very proud of me. Alexia thinks of something and smiles. You're right. Us guild faerie guardians have amazing powers and have the ability to even destroy Neopia. But we do not use our powers for such atrocious desires. You are the one that will be captured and taken to Dr. Sloth! Alexia stands back, chants a spell, and watches the Pirate Krawk transform into a large swirl and appear quite squished in a bottle on the ground. The bottle appears in Dr. Sloth's laboratory for his surprising find.
