You've been waiting and now... Coming THEME WEEKS!

So admittedly we've had a theme week lull and we weren't doing them every four weeks like I prefer but now the next four months should have booming theme weeks one after another every four weeks or so! Now what you've been waiting for... what the themes are!!

1. Pirates - The much delayed Pirate theme week part 2 will be landing on the shores of the guild hopefully by this FRIDAY! Unless you guys would like a different theme for January and we can coordinate the Pirate theme to happen in May with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man's Chest which I think might be a better idea

2. A Guild Plot! - In February we have two much anticipated things rolled into one! In February another Guild Plot will be unveiled for our members to participate! The plot being the first long-awaited activity and the second thing it is combined with is the Scavenger Hunt idea that was thrown around a few months ago. I won't say much else though so as not to spoil it for you guys!

3. Baby Guardians - Then in March we will do the much anticipated theme week featuring our seven guardians as adorable babies! Unfortunately the Baby Paint Brush that I bought years ago for this event was lost in a Neopets glitch when I had it in my shop:() None the less we will still have a baby theme week and I'm sure it will be a blast!

4. Songkran - And for April something new! It will be a celebration of Songkran. Songkran is the celebration of the new year in Thailand and it's basically a water festival where for three days starting on April 13 people pummel each other with water and engage in water fights and anything and everything that has to do with getting absolutely soaking wet! The tradition stems from the belief that water will wash away bad luck for the new year. Our celebration of Songkran will last a whole week as the water festival theme week goes on and washes away bad luck for the guild! Serena seems delighted about hosting this one!

After that we'll have to brain storm some more ideas but if anyone has any ideas, suggestions, comments or questions about these feel free to post!

woohoo can't wait. maybe we should hold off on Pirates for when the movie opens and maybe move up the baby guardian theme week? Or something else like a UNI theme week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm thinking instead of Pirates for January we can push it back to May to go with the release of Pirates of the Caribbean and for January in honor of winter nearing its end and spring around the horizon that we could do a rainbow theme week

I like this idea.
Becuase I have provincials coming up and am swamped with work and school. And i have a ton of pirate prizes I have bought and guild members have donated for my giveaway.
But I am afraid that if you have a theme week coming up in the next 2 weeks I wont be able to do one of my Random Daily Giveaways. Or if I do it will be really small.

I've got two things to say, both good, don't worry lol. Well for one, of course I simply love your plans for the next while, dl! Well thought out, and very exciting! And two, I think it's great that we're back into the swing of events going on every 4 weeks. It gives more people a chance here and there to participate, so if they happen to miss one theme week or something..they won't be as disappointed. There'll be more to look forward to!

And I think we should go for the rainbow theme week idea! Some bright colors will surely create a cheery mood..so that's a good way to kick off the upcoming activities!

Those theme weeks sound awesome! I can't wait for the guild plot (I hope I'll be around enough to participate, though). The pirate one sounds fun, too, and it would be neat to time it to correspond with the POTC2 movie (which I can hardly wait for)!
