Kool,was DL built before or after Disney World? GG Disneyland is where the magic started. Disneyland is actually the only Disney park that Walt Disney set foot in. |

Woah. I thought Disneyland opened November 5, 1955. Which makes it exactly one day younger than my mom!

The 50th Anniversary next year will be clelebrated for 18 months starting next May. I was actually at Disneyland yesterday and the castle was all covered up in tarps and scafolding, they're gonna paint it up with a gold trim and add crowns and other stuff for the 50th anniversary.
They are also gonna open up a "reimagined" Space Mountain.
Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin (A ride like Peter Pan except you aren't flying but you have a lazer gun and you shoot at targets and get a score at the end... you could even play with people online from your home computer!)
A new parade and a new fireworks spectacular.
