Oh look! A fresh new gormball' exclaims Serena to all of the guardians, 'What do you think we should do with it...
The guardians all gather round in a circle to discuss the gormballs fate. Serena says, Lets throw it around, you know me..I love to get wet, its the perfect day for a good soaking! Audra says well I know I found it, but fire faeries and water really don't mix well. I tell you what, lets give it to Joey and let him have a gormball throwing contest. Malla pipes in, yeah but you know Joey, he is a bit of a nut and is more likely to pull a sneak attack and bursting it on one of the members. Aviena expresses her idea of having a painting contest...I can't help it she exclaims, I just love pretty things! I know what we should do says Fauna, lets place it on a pedestal in the garden and watch the lights reflections! Finally Alexia says please, hand the gormball to me I know exactly what we need to do. As Audra places the ball in Alexis hands all mouths open as Alexia tosses the gormball in mid air and in a calm voice says catch! The day was spent in the beautiful grounds of the castle amoung friends and family all entraced in a great game of gormball. You might ask who was the lucky/unlucky person who missed. Well ironically enough, Serena after many hours of play decided she needed a cool refreshing splash so she missed on purpose and well, poor Audra did get a few drops upon her, but they all fell to the ground and laughed about the days event.

Oh look! A fresh new gormball' exclaims Serena to all of the guardians, 'What do you think we should do with it...
Before any of the guardians could answer Serena, the gormball in her hands began to glow. While they watched in amazement, it got smaller and smaller, until it disappeared with a pop. For a moment, they were so surprised that none of them moved or made a sound.
“What do you supposed happened to it? Where could it have gone? And HOW did it go? ”exclaimed Audra with her eyes wide and a confused look on her face.
Alexia looked somewhat annoyed and said she had no idea.
Just then, the pretty faerie Uni, Bixabo, came galloping up, and stood panting, all out of breath. He was so upset he couldn’t get a word out! Ilumenia stroked him gently and asked him what was wrong.
“All of the gormballs in the kingdom have disappeared!” cried Bixabo. He looked so pitiful and worried and his wings were drooping. “How will we have our tournament this afternoon?”
Fauna stated quietly in a determined voice that she would get to the bottom of it right away. And off she went in a green cloud of smoke.
Word spread of the missing gormballs and soon the entire kingdom was worried and disappointed that there would be no tournament.
Just when everyone, including Fauna, had about given up, Malla appeared with a great flash of light right in the center of the castle doorway. Trumpets sounded as a stately group of pets filed out of the castle, two by two, and proceeded into the courtyard. Each one was carrying a beautiful golden gormball! Glowing from within, each gormball changed colors from gold, to blue, to red, and back to gold, over and over. It was a beautiful sight to behold!
Malla looked very smug as she announced that in light of the coming tournament, she decided to gather up all the old gormballs, and replace them with new, more exciting color-changing orbs. So they weren’t really missing after all! She knew she had fooled everyone, and she was satisfied that her practical joke had everyone hoodwinked!
The entire kingdom rose up with a great cheer, and all headed for the playing field. No one really minded that Malla had played a joke yet again, as it was the most colorful, exciting tournament of gormball that had ever been played. The day turned out to be a pleasant one after all!

Oh look! A fresh new gormball' exclaims Serena to all of the guardians, 'What do you think we should do with it...
The guardians arranged themselves in a circle and tossed the gormball around. After 10 minutes, Alexia noticed something. "I wonder why no one is out? This gormball hasn't exploded once!" "Where did you say you got this, Serena?" Malla questioned. Serena replied with, "Er...As I was walking, it fell from the sky and --"
But no one had to say a word, for at that moment all the guardians remembered the only Neopian land at a higher altitude than the Silver Clouds -- Faerieland. Each dawned an expression of comprehension, then horror, as they realized whose "gormball-like orb" this must be. Alexia spoke first. "This gormball..isn't really a gormball," she said with a gasp. "We've been playing with the orb of the Water Faerie's wand!" "Wh-what if she thinks I stole it?" stuttered Serena. "Don't worry, we'll just return it to her before she notices." Ilumenia said, though she doubted her own words.
The guardians wasted no time in organizing a plan. They magically transported themselves into Faerieland, finding themselves standing behind the Healing Springs, the Water Faerie up front. Her voice wafted through the air, granting a healing spell to a wounded neopet. "She doesn't sound mad...maybe she hasn't noticed half her wand is missing yet!" Audra hoped. The guardians crept around the fountain to the water faerie's wand. Serena extended her arm. She dared stand on the edge of the fountain, and just as she placed the orb on the wand she lost her footing on the slippery edge and fell with a splash in the Healing Springs. The Water Faerie snapped her head toward the source of the noise. The orb was back on the wand, but now they had to explain why they had been sneaking up on her. A few minutes later, the scene was as follows - Audra had conjured a heat spell that surrounded Serena, drying her dress. The guardians sat around a table, chatting with the Water Faerie.
"...So that's how we landed here." Alexia said with a laugh. "Oh, is that all? My wand is a bit old now and the orb occasionally falls, but I never imagined it would slip through the clouds! I noticed it was gone but assumed someone in Faerieland would find and return it. I want to thank you all. So...anyone for a game of Gormball? It's a regular around here during Songkran." The guardians' last game of gormball hadn't gone well...but what the heck? "I hope you brought your swimsuit, because we fully intend to win." Alexia said, grinning.
